Instagram is only okay if you post pics to show off high SMV. I spent many many wasted hours scrolling through feeds of completely useless entertainment. It also presents the same pitfall of all social media which is that it shows you the highlights of peoples life. It doesn't show you the 16 hours of the day they spend texting and watching Netflix in bed. You could try learning a new language. I would recommend the Duolingo app. Been spending about 5-10 minutes every day and it’s going well so far. Helping to open up future opportunities.

Pick up a sport. It doesn’t even have to be competitive, look around and I’m sure they’ll be casual local leagues you could join. I used to play video games all the time in high school but now whenever I am bored and get the urge to play video games I’ll either go to the gym and play basketball or play tennis when it’s warm out. Also helps with the physical fitness aspect.
