Pretty much what I came here to say. For one thing, in the gym there are plenty of guys showing off (deliberately or not) how much more fit they are than you (probably). For another, if she's hot, you're no different than every other guy in there who has eyed her up/made a pass at her. And another, a lot of girls I know hate getting hit on at the gym because they go there in their grungy clothes and get sweaty and nasty and just wanna be left to themselves to have some "me time" and focus on imp…

An engineering program with attractive women? As an engineering student, I call bullshit.

All the time. I volunteer to DD for my friends on a regular basis because I have lots of fun downtown even without drinking (very outgoing personality, don't need alcohol to get crazy or enjoy myself - don't need to "come out of my shell"). I've had girls try to get me in bed many times at the end of these nights. One of the craziest was a friend's 21st birthday celebration - drove her and her friends home, carried her up to her apartment and put her in her bed. She's laying there saying "I can'…

Fuck that noise. Buying a phone to get a number? Cute. But way too much effort. Getting a number should never, ever require thinning out your wallet.

That's a great way to play it off, I'll definitely keep that trick in my pocket. As far as her being an HB8, you can see the pic of myself and my gf on this thread - I like to think I have a well developed sense of what an attractive woman looks like, though you are welcome to disagree and I won't be offended.

They're actually a great bunch of guys, just blowing off steam before med school started back up this week and had way too much to drink. She was part of a pretty tight group with them - been through a year or two of school together, always studying and such, so it wasn't like she was some random girl. So yes, douche-y behavior, but it wasn't as ridiculous as I made it sound. We had a great conversation, she was a lot more intelligent then average downtown slut (I attend a Playboy top 10 rated "…

Well it was dollar domestic bottle night, so the cost wasn't a big deal in this case. And I rarely buy drinks for anyone, regardless of cost, it was just the right move in the right place at the right time.

Oh, I know that very well - not rude at all :) just don't let her know that ;) But yeah, it really is a confidence boost to start landing those girls who are "out of your league" - and once you start, it gets easier and easier to keep doing it!

Doesn't matter to me either way, just couldn't tell if you were trying to be sarcastic or not. :)

Any reason you decided to say that like a 12 year old? EDIT: Also, of course she is! I have standards.

Hahahaha. Ironically, this is exactly how I feel about the whole thing. I've always had natural game I guess, so I don't really worry about it - but I was interested in seeing my actions through a "PUA lens" When I first got on Seddit I was actually pretty scornful of the whole thing. This was me as a freshman in college: - CLEARLY it was not my good looks getting me laid.

Gotcha. I was getting plenty of IOIs, and clearly had no trouble throwing some kino in when I barely even knew her name. That being said, I realize an FR from someone who isn't really trying to close is kinda silly.

Wear whatever the hell you want, however the hell you want to. What matters is if you have game, and confidence with the clothes you're in - it doesn't matter if you're wearing a banana-suit, you will do well with the ladies.

Yes. I haven't studied in PUA stuff, but from a bit of reading, most of the stuff that is emphasized is things I just do - I guess I have "natural game" or whatnot. I don't consider myself unattractive, but I'm no 10 either. I have a brother two years younger then me - model looks - perfect teeth, in great shape, knows how to dress, etc. But he has absolutely no game. He has had almost no experience with women, I've been with over 40. tl;dr - if you just looked at pictures, every girl would go f…

You have three options * Find new friends * Take every one of these guys aside and tell them to quit screwing you over * Complain about it online, but ultimately just suck it up Personally, I'd do a combination of the first two - there are plenty of guys who are out there who have their head in the game enough to not trash you like that. tl;dr Get better wingmen, or send the ones you've got to flight school. EDIT: I clearly don't understand reddit formatting.

Can't get enough of it. I've always loved holding hands, no matter how far I am into a relationship with a girl. Sometimes it just happens, but I'm a big fan of looking her in the eye and asking her for permission to hold her hand. At least around here, the girls eat that stuff up, never had it fail, and you can usually see the "omg, adorable!" look in their eye when they take your hand :)

I'm definitely a nickname guy... the thing for me is that once I've consistently called a girl some pet name ("sweet pea", "princess", etc.) that nick sticks with her in my head and it makes it hard for me to pull it out on other girls - after 10 relationships and 40-some flings of varying lengths, the pool of available nicks starts to shrink a lot! I definitely like using names based on specific experiences with that person (current girlfriend likes the phrase "you're the mac to my cheese" beca…
