Voices of Reason About the Gender Wars | FrontPage MagazineThat banner....... "inside every liberal is a totalitarian waiting to get out". Yeah, no thanks. | /r/MensRights | 01/10/13 01:23 PM
A new law in California may be the best piece of mens rights legislation you will ever see from such a liberal stateFeminism isn't "liberalism gone too far", it's liberalism not going far enough. If you think gender equality is a conservative value rather than a liberal one then I don't know what planet you are living on. | /r/MensRights | 05/07/13 10:22 AM
Are we fanatics? Some people here are definitely fanatics (sorry but it's true). We're not anywhere near as bad as feminism (overall) but always question yourself because it's easy to get worked up about things that mean a lot to you. Sorry about you losing your friend :(. | /r/MensRights | 12/06/13 03:18 PM
| -3 | "Authorities in Nassau County recently humiliated 104 men for attempting to buy sex...you cannot, in fact, end demand for the world’s oldest profession. All you can do by criminalizing demand is violate men’s right to be presumed innocent, ruin lives and make it harder for prostitutes to work."Fuck off. People like you only legitimise the notion that anti-feminist = anti-woman. | /r/MensRights | 10/06/13 09:16 PM |
Slut shaming is totally awesome, as long as the alleged slut is a man.I think uploading the picture is the same in both cases. I don't think society would be more against a man uploading a picture of a cheating woman (of course it could be lies). Also, it's cheater shaming, not slut shaming (and women are actually judged more harshly for cheating). Finally, men are shamed for lots of things more than women, but i don't think promiscuity is one of them. Let's stick to calling out sexism where it definitely does exist. | /r/MensRights | 09/06/13 10:39 PM
I'm sorry, I came here against you, and 2 weeks of reading has opened my eyes. A recent conversation with a feminist friend has me livid right now. (BIG fucking wall of text)I had initially ignored No_nrg's comment, but when I read yours I was compelled to go over it. Now I too have changed my view. Thank you both! | /r/MensRights | 05/05/13 10:37 PM
A friend of mine (female) posted this on facebook, progress =DA lot of feminist propaganda has had people believe that the domestic violence problem is mostly about men being violent towards women, posters like this are an attempt to rectify the situation (although I do agree a more balanced poster would be better - maybe the campaign is more balanced overall with the hope people will see multiple posters). I'm not american so i've only heard about it from here, but for example VAWA was sexist, non-gender neutral legislation lobbied for by feminist groups … | /r/MensRights | 30/04/13 08:41 PM
IRN BRU advert in the UK, why do I find it offensive? Can't quite put my finger on it...Not so much a boycott, more just a "well you've just lost a customer" sort of thing. | /r/MensRights | 24/04/13 06:14 PM
IRN BRU advert in the UK, why do I find it offensive? Can't quite put my finger on it...After seeing this ad as a teenager I decided I would never drink Irn bru. I'm a person who always likes to trying new drinks and new flavours etc. and I see it in shops quite a bit. I still have no idea what it tastes like.... | /r/MensRights | 22/04/13 03:03 PM
What to do about LuluCould you wait a year and then register? Are the guys' pages on it linked to their facebook page (thus would changing your facebook picture/name change things + do you have an option to have you page removed)? If the pages aren't linked, what's to stop women from creating tens of pages for the same guy turning the site into one giant impractical mess? (sorry for the questions but you seem to know more about it than most). | /r/MensRights | 12/04/13 03:42 PM

Study: Men look at women's faces, women look at women's bodies. The study was in an artificial environment (i.e people looking at images of other people). This doesn't necessarily tell us where people will look in a real world situation with real other people. Just sayin'. | /r/MensRights | 24/03/13 02:43 PM
Paternity fraud: The "10% of all children born to married couples do not have their "father's" genes" study, and where it comes from.afaik the 10% figure came from an anonymous biologist doing blood tests in the 50s/60s who was too scared to publish. Not exactly a credible source... I found this article from newscientist putting the rate in the west at 4%. This article gives a wide range of figures, including this table for fathers of unknown confidence - he lumps in "high and unknown" confidence together in his later graph idk why, surely "unknown confidence" is the most representative of the overall population? The only "un… | /r/MensRights | 09/03/13 11:57 PM

| -5 | Massachusetts schools get guidelines on transgender students: officials said that they are ready to implement new state guidelines that allow transgender students to use bathrooms and play on sports tThere shouldn't be gendered bathrooms in the first place. "Gender" is an inherently sexist notion which should have nothing to do with the egalitarian movement. Leave such pseudo-scientific bullshit to the feminists. | /r/MensRights | 21/02/13 11:17 PM |
Questions from an ex-hardcore-feminist?I'm not sure about the last three, but i used to watch barbarosa's vids before i found this place. I think he's too extreme, kinda conspiratorial, resorts to gender stereotypes, talks of matriarchy etc. I'd consider his stuff to be "feminism flipped around", which I guess is a useful thing to have out there, but I wouldn't necessarily consider him the best person to convince a female egalitarian to dissociate herself from feminism. | /r/MensRights | 01/02/13 11:28 PM

| -2 | Verbally abused in my school year's for not being as "manly" as i should have been.I don't see why you're posting this here. I'd wager that most guys here have had negative experiences with such "best of both worlds" feminists, most probably worse and more long-lasting ones than yours. | /r/MensRights | 09/01/13 06:08 PM |
