How I see it is: If you're not at ease with something, there's a reason for it. First find out what that reason is, and the rest will follow. I think a good thing to start with is to stop focussing on meeting women. Just try to be more socially active without afterthoughts, doing things you enjoy for the sake of enjoyment, without trying to calculate if or when it might lead to meeting a woman. Girls and boys are not that different, we all like to meet genuine people.
