5	Never make a man go to therapy or attend relationship counseling with you. They will only do the bare minimum needed to get you to stay. It’s a waste of time and money. Work on the assumption they will never change. I was in the same boat last year. I was stuck and unhappy in a 14yr marriage with my LVH. I pleaded, cried, and begged him to work with me to change, meet my halfway, attend counseling. I did anything I could think of to help/save our marriage. I kept trying even after he admitted in one of our counseling sessions that he actively tried to sabotage and keep me from having a career.
