| 23 | Why are the women doing all the work?! (linked article)A colleague I know said that even though he’s working remotely, he only sees his newborn for about an hour a day anyway. His wife takes care of their child and he works. I see that as being incredibly sad that he can’t even help her out for more than an hour a day. | /r/FemaleDatingStrategy | 09/02/21 05:16 AM |
| 1 | Should dating be put on hold during COVID?I’m approaching dating with that mindset because it’s not everyday that I come across a guy who’s 6 feet tall and a Patrick Wilson look-a-like who has a corporate job ($100k minimum salary). I’m accomplished and young and I’m decent looking but it feels like there’s a lack of good single guys in my area. So it really stinks that he doesn’t have a car/isn’t interested in owning one and I wonder if I should just lower my standards. | /r/FemaleDatingStrategy | 03/08/20 01:46 AM |
| -8 | Should dating be put on hold during COVID?Am I being too shallow? I mean, a lot of my girlfriends would say that I am. When I arrived outside the Starbucks, he’d already gone inside and gotten his coffee. So I went in and ordered my own coffee. He didn’t wait for me but it’s not a big deal, I guess. | /r/FemaleDatingStrategy | 02/08/20 06:49 PM |
| 3 | Should dating be put on hold during COVID?Does he not have the money to buy a car? I think this guy from OLD has enough money (but who really knows?) because he’s a manager at a reputable firm. A lot of my girl friends don’t own cars, don’t drive, or don’t have their driver’s license. I seem to be more forgiving towards them but lately I’m getting fed up because I always seem to be the designated driver and no one’s ever given me gas money. Now that public transit is extremely unreliable, my friends ask me to take them grocery shopping,… | /r/FemaleDatingStrategy | 02/08/20 06:25 PM |
| 5 | Should dating be put on hold during COVID?Thanks for the response! I feel shallow but I think it’s simply a symptom of being farther along in life than many other 25-year old women. I think if I didn’t own a car myself I wouldn’t mind that he doesn’t? I paid off my own car after two years of working (2017 Honda CRV), have $50k saved up for a down payment, and I have no student loans. I’ve been working for the past three years and saving a little less than half of my income. I thought a 36/37 year old would be really well-put together bu… | /r/FemaleDatingStrategy | 02/08/20 06:21 PM |
| -6 | Can a married man ever be HVM if he flirts with you?I agree. I don't know anything about other people's marriages other than the tidbits that I glean from what they tell me and the others. I do know that his wife is the same age as him and they don't have kids. All the other men in the department who are married and over 30 have children. One time at a happy hour, he told me that he would out of the office the next day to take his wife to the doctor for antidepressants. I just thought that I'd be depressed too if I didn't have any children at 35 … | /r/FemaleDatingStrategy | 02/08/20 03:04 AM |
| -4 | Can a married man ever be HVM if he flirts with you?He was so friendly, so I've also wondered if he was never a creeper and is just a genuinely friendly guy. I've learned a lot from him, and now I'm miffed because my "new" boss has much weaker technical skills. I feel as though my learning has leveled off. I mean, he checked me out a lot but I think it's because I was the only woman walking around. COVID really has changed the whole landscape. | /r/FemaleDatingStrategy | 02/08/20 02:47 AM |
