"You do realize that there are a lot of feminist here that refuse to take accountability here right? They think its okay to be manipulative" Regardless if there is or not, that doesn't contradict my message that ruminating obsessively over those feminists is not a solution to your, mine or any other man's problems. I don't tolerate manipulative behavior from feminists or anyone else here or anywhere else. You don't need the manosphere to come to that conclusion. "Its good that you notice but wou…

I don't think your question is being asked in good faith, I think you just want to argue and are looking for conflict. I say this because there are plenty examples of folks helping men out AND taking their side in this subreddit and in others such as arr-incelexit if you are willing to look for them. I can totally agree with you that a lot of men's problems aren't taken seriously enough and I think that needs to change. That being said, obsessively ruminating about how evil feminists and arguing…

Red pillers, like Republicans, have pr tactics and marketing strategies in lieu of convictions and sincere beliefs. Keep this in mind always, it will allow you not to react emotionally when they say stupid, bigoted and hypocritical nonsense!

From my own time in the manosphere, I had a really fucked up view of single moms. My resentment towards single moms came from the fact that the boys who used to bully, harass and beat me up were extremely popular with women. It was easy to victim blame domestic abuse victims because i felt they got exactly what they wanted in a man, someone violent, aggressive and cruel. If women were actually appalled by violent or aggressive behavior in men, why would those men be so attractive? Shouldn't thos…

A lot of red pillers are supplement pushers too, so they're most likely going to suggest that diet/exercise/motivation is the sole cause of it and call it good. Seeking treatment for mental health issues isn't good for their bottom line so they will not address any of it seriously. I'm not against stoicism like many others here are, but it has to be realistic stoicism. Trying out "out-motivate" a mental health problem is like trying to knock down a metal pole with a pool noodle. Not going to hap…

I think the best way to reference any red pill influencer without mentioning his name is just to refer to them vaguely as "red pill influencers" or influencer. Maybe altered fake names would work too. Like call him "Andy Bate" instead or something!

Humans aren't monolithic. Why people find certain things attractive is entirely personal, individualistic and subjective. I think when you see a woman that is dating an horrible man, there's some weird bias to think the woman dating him is some clueless tart who was tricked into going out with him cause he's charming or whatever. Apply occam's razor to this irrational belief and you might realize that specific woman dating the horrible guy is probably also a piece of shit human being and is dati…

That "out of the fog" website seems like a really food one to skim through! Your comment was very informative, thank you for bringing it up!

I think this a good question to ask. I believe anything that's positive about the red pill is something that can be suggested without the baggage of the red pill. Because when you see folks defend the red pill, they don't defend it's harmful, hateful and often misogynistic outlook, they bring up what positive effects the red pill had on them. So I think it's smart to identify any positive influences that the red pill had on us, as it is often the anchors that hold many people to the red pill. Th…

I like that the article brings this up the need for a more healthy dating culture and it's something that I think it's super necessary but not discussed nearly enough. Because I'm not thrilled with the way the conversation is currently going. It feels like the rise of awful ideologies like the red pill, black pill and exploitative industries like pick up artistry have very loudly exposed the fact a lot of us (especially us in the USA) that we aren't doing much of anything to promote a healthy da…

You don't need the baggage of the red pill to come to the conclusions that working out feels good and that Disney films aren't reflective of reality.

I HARD disagree with your friend Sam. I guarantee any confrontation, peaceful or confrontational, will likely leave you very unsatisfied and unfulfilled. I say this from personal experience, the best approach to Bob is to cut him out of your life and move on. He's living rent free in your head, he needs an eviction!

Congratulations! I really like what you wrote and I think you're right about everything. I wish you good luck in your social media campaigns. That being said, My only nitpick is please don't refer to being brutally honest and being intimate with women as "Beta", even if the redpill calls it that. I think that might turn off your potential audience and backfire. It'll leave you open to a lot of dumb off-topic responses that will deter you from your main message. Scratch that one line out, I think…

r/incelexit is a lot more geared towards blackpill than this forum (and I personally think it is WAY better than here about actually combating it). Red pill and blackpill both exploit the same insecurities and traumas men have towards women, which is specifically why I associate the two. The biggest difference between them is red pillers show confidence or pretend that they are confident whereas blackpillers are fatalistically defeatist.

If you are hoping to change his outlook, you will NOT accomplish this by arguing or debunking his rhetoric, which sucks because that would make combating the spread of this obnoxious ideology very easy. You're likely going to have to get him to address his emotional issues directly, which is a HELL of a lot easier said than done. I totally understand the responses that say you should just distance yourself and get dragged down and it's a totally justifiable position. Your dad is a grown man and …

"not all mediocre men are redpilled" What's an example of a non-redpilled mediocre man?

I would say that happened in 2015-16 when Republican/Trump figured out that the resentment that the red pill manifested could be weaponized very effectively in the political arena. Alt-right agitators know just as well as you and I that their opinions are atrocious so they have to resort to dirty tactics to advance these awful causes. Calling any male who stands up against them a "cuck" or a "beta-male" was directly targeting common inferiority complexes and insecurities that men have about wome…

"To anyone who's not a redpiller, a mediocre man would be a redpilled man." Then you should just call them "red-pilled men" instead of mediocre. This way there isn't anything left up to interpretation and the definition is concise.

"this should really be higher up lol most women would rather be alone than be with a mediocre man." Doesn't this exact sort of rhetoric only validate the rhetoric that the red pill pushes? Especially for a man who's susceptible to red/black pill influence, "mediocre man" sounds a hell of an awful lot like feminist-speak for "beta-male".

Yeah, that's literally the reason. They have marketing strategies not beliefs or convictions.

You've said in another comment that you've only been at it for a month. It will likely take more time than that to see any significant results. You should be proud of yourself for sticking with it a month, a lot of folks don't last that long! You might be getting small gains now but the small gains stack and stack and build up over time if you remain consistent. Regardless of what specific workout path you follow (and there are lots of different pathways when it comes to getting in shape! ), Con…

The mensRights subreddit is geared heavily towards hatred of women rather than sincere concerns for problems facing men. It's advertised as a men's group but is mostly filled with addictive rage point aimed at women. I'm not a fan of menslib either. It's SIGNIFICANTLY better than mensRights however, I've noticed a lot of conversation in that sub tends to get purged to the point where it's essentially useless as a men's discussion or support group.

Everything that is considered "true" about the red pill is a direct response to one well intended but really awful and completely bullshit piece of dating advice that men frequently get. "Women don't care about looks or status, they want someone who has a kind personality". From my own personal experience, that's complete bullshit and it is to the experiences of a mass majority of men who have been red pulled. The women who give this advice, I feel are talking specifically why they love their hu…

Shaming any person who is questioning their red-pilled or black-pilled beliefs is only going to make them double down on their previous views, not abandon them. It's a problematic behavior I've seen in this sub. I agree that a lot of men find themselves red-pilled because of previous abuse, depression and trauma and find those that spread red/black pill bullshit sympathetic to their problems. I believe that many opponents of the red pill get too hyperfocused on the misogynist rhetoric that they'…

Yeah, it's really sad. If MGTOW was about what they claim they are, it would be one thing but getting hyper focused on how evil women are is NOT going their own way. It's not healthy, it's just grifters exploiting the insecurities of men and it makes me sick.

Im sorry you feel this way. Blackpill thinking a debilitating addition and a very difficult addition to kick. Please try and treat yourself with kindness. So I challenge you to say something positive about yourself, even if it is something trivial! I know that's easier said than done but it's worth it to try!

I think you need to address your inferiority complex head on and to seek help if you have to. I think you need to learn how to have a positive self image. I realize that's much easier said than done, but it's something worth pursuing even though it's hard. So I challenge you, say something positive about yourself, even if it is something trivial, once a day. Fixing your self esteem should be your priority!

My rule of thumb about this is to merely put myself in the shoes of someone who gets approached. Would it piss me off if someone started a conversation with me in this situation? Like I wouldn't mind if someone introduced themselves to me at a bar or something, but it would piss me of if someone interrupted me at the gym or if I was working. I'll talk to a girl at a bar, but I keep to myself if I'm shopping or at the gym or while I'm at work or walking down the street. I've had a couple successf…

I don't know where you live or what's local for you, but look up specific unions in your local area and see if they have entry-level jobs available. The teamsters are a common one for example. I know a few folks who went that route for employment starting in their mid-20s and makes a pretty decent living!

First of all please please please seek help if you are feeling suicidal. It's not too late to start getting job experience. Perhaps look into an entry level union job and build from there. That being said, You shouldn't think you need to have a solid career in order to have a relationship or to have a healthy self esteem. If finding a stable career path is what makes you feel better about yourself, pursue it. You should focus on what makes you more happy with yourself, finding a relationship wil…
