Cooperation improves competition. Cooperation also yields higher economic return (that's why insider trading is illegal). I recommend checking out the Nash Equilibrium theory. What if what we really we have is a diverse spectrum of personalities, behaviors and cultures in order to react to different needs at different times? Why put all of your eggs into one anarcho-libertarian basket? Didn't it come from studying wolves or something? We aren't wolves, we are primates, and rather intelligent ones at that. We have a variety of reproductive strategies at any given moment which are dependent on environmental factors and biological tendencies. This allows us to be flexible enough to favor certain strategies over others to increase the survival of our species.
