It is a fact because people constantly use it to shame.

I'm general it does. Look at any example or friend zoning on the internet. That's like saying it's only in your mind that the nword is offensive.

Saying friend Zone is shaming them because that is what the term implies.

Have you never heard guys talk about being friend zoned and blaming the girl for it? They think something is wrong with her for not wanting them. People have used it enough in a shaming way and that's why it is a bad term to use. Plus there is no such thing as a friend Zone. There are just people who want to only be your friend. It isn't a zone. It is a friendship.

It still implies shame because that's what a zone does.

Have you never heard a guy attack a woman for friend zoning him? They talk about it as if they have committed a great crime.

Why not just call them a friend. Why bring zoning into it?

Just say you were rejected by someone.

It still implies the shaming which is wrong. Even if you don't mean to shame.

Exactly. People say someone is putting them in a friend "zone" to justify their feelings of being rejected. There is no zone. There is just a person not into another person sexually and there is nothing wrong with it either.

Nobody is putting you in a zone. The person wants to be your friend and isn't into you sexually. Saying someone is in a zone implies that it is bad they are not into you and that it is okay to shame them.

No a person doesnt want to have sex or a relationship with you. That's all it is. There is no zone.

There is no such thing as the friendzone. Just a term men use to shame a woman who isn't attracted to them.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
