I second the advice above, maybe your best bet would have been central or Eastern Europe. Keep in mind that the 3 countries you mentioned have some pretty good local competition, so it is less likely that they will fall for your American vibe. Most important, imo, don’t be an ass and prepare to be on your top game, as most European young women are well educated and tend to be picky - so no college tshirts and flip flops, no cheap drinks in plastic cups and no bullshit conversations.

I disagree with you. I don’t know what your concepts are (apart from the Machiavellian stance mentioned), but all of these are classic signs of beta behavior. To me, basically running away and being two faced is classic low value behavior for both sexes. I verified this in a funny way. I work at a senior position in a consulting firm, so that means I deal with the interns and more junior staff on a daily basis; those two categories are basically made up of college kids graduating. Location is key not only by city size, urban vs rural etc but mainly by cultural mindset. I live in a big city (> 2 million), but the crowd here is shit. Went to San Diego last month and got along with girls ridiculously easily, couldn't believe how fast I could strike a conversation and make connections.
