Useful knowledge to have. And it will only become more useful with time. The Oxford study I mentioned above lists several CS jobs that will probably survive. (http://www.oxfordmartin.ox.ac.uk/downloads/academic/The_Future_of_Employment.pdf). With that being said, I'm not an expert in the computer industry by any stretch of the imagination, so you might want to ask others who know more about it to give detailed info.

You're actually better off studying the Reviews now on your own, to be honest. Sociology jobs don't pay well. Plus, the gender studies kool-aid is already trying to drown the positivist, math-heavy version of sociology. (Hasn't succeeded yet, but the field isn't exactly in amazing shape right now either.) But sociologists understand power. Really understand it. A lot of the feminist movement's strategy over the past 50 years was cribbed from the postwar generation of sociologists' textbooks.
