There are quite a few options out there. I mostly use Ableton Live 10 Suite. I tinker with Logic Pro X on occasion, although Ableton is what I lean towards. I used to use Cakewalk products during the years I was primarily a PC user. I would encourage you to check out some demo/trial versions of different products and see which one(s) you like best. I've been the primary-custodial parent of my son since he was eight months-old. For the most-part, I remained single these passed 15 years. My son is almost 16 years-old now.
