Tough to say, I didn’t see too many Asians traveling South America. You’d still be unique which opens the door to a lot of options.

Gotta love being a standout race in another country. I’m like a 6/10 too but was cleaning up in South America a couple years ago. Being white with green eyes and some moderate Spanish skills was a gamechanger. Guys, take time to travel somewhere and experience it for yourself. Even for a week.

This is a great book. I try to re-read it several times a year. Each time, I highlight more things that hit home - hard. Almost the whole book is highlighted. The stuff is right on. When I read this book after a relationship ends, I always kick myself for how true the points are. But the key is to carry over the principles into the next relationship...which can be difficult if you are really caught up with that person.

Not the only one. I'm 27 also and struggling in a small town. Most of my friends are either engaged/married and moving on from me, while I have a number of acquaintances who do nothing but drink and party. I'm more of an introvert so that probably doesn't help my cause.

It's because of the implication

I've had success getting to know girls at the gym. But you can't just crash their party while they're in the middle of their cardio deal. It has to be more natural, like making a comment when you're both standing around the water fountain...or if she's in the weight area and you're both just resting between sets. It's a lot more natural that way and comes off as less creepy.

Way to go man. You sound a lot like me but I haven't had that breakthrough yet. I'm going on 27 and still suck with women. I'm going to take your advice though and try to get out of my dang head.

Thanks for the encouraging post! 2 questions though: 1) What specifcally are you doing to meet women? Are you day-gaming them, meeting them at work, etc? 2) How do you deal with the competition? I'm a 26-year-old guy, in shape, not terrible-looking, reasonably social. Yet every girl I meet is already dating/engaged/seriously talking to 82 other guys.

Yes, me. Grew up in a very close-minded right wing-christian conservative home. I was homeschooled until 10th grade, and when finally allowed to attend a private christian school, had no idea how to talk to women. Hell I still really don't.

Ehh it was more of a miscommunication I'd say. I wanted to hang out 1-on-1 obviously...she was like "well I already told my friends I'd go bar-hopping with them but we can come over to your town."

I live in a rural area so I have to throw a really wide net on Tinder...I've had a couple matches and even met up with one girl at a bar (although she brought 4 guy friends lmfao). Gotta keep trying...

Pretty cool intro story. I guess I'm just shocked that an attractive, well-adjusted girl in her mid-20's was "single" enough to make this so easy. I'm 25, and every freaking girl I talk to is either married, engaged, or might as well be because she's in an extremely serious relationship. It just seems wayyy too good to be true that there are attractive, single, receptive girls right in front of us.

I think you're definitely on to something. I had an uncle who bounced around some low-end jobs before getting a huge break with a fortune 500 company. He just settled down a couple years ago in his late 30's. Now he's got a gorgeous wife, 2 kids and a mansion. He's the guy I want to be...but it still stings a little to feel like an outcast when I'm watching all my peers right now.

Thanks for the reply. I also attended (Christian) high school for a couple of years, but aside from playing some sports I flew under the radar. Same thing at -- guess again -- private Christian college. That experience probably made me worse... I'm 25 now and trying to get my act together. Not a lot of friends, never had a g/f. But physically I'm in great shape and have some good things going for me. Just trying to forge ahead. Luckily I moved out from home, but my parents are now trying to get …

Thanks for posting this. You describe me to a tee :( Not only was I raised up in an extreme right wing Christian/conservative home, but I was also homeschooled. I hate making it my excuse for being bad with women, but I think it did set me back socially in a huge way. Like you said, I was raised to shun every thought of sexuality, was not allowed to date, and had parents micromanage my every move. I was in church 3-5 times per week, was forced to do stupid things like competitive travel team Bib…

My reaction as well. I'm not trying to be pessimistic here, but WTF does he expect us to do? Just quit our jobs and float off into badass land? What about the bills?

I'm terrible at this. I can't find the balance between being comfortably assertive and disgustingly creepy.

There's a girl who I see in passing at work (completely separate department)...I thought she was like 21 or 22, but it turns out she's only 17. She is really mature and classy, and she always smiles and wants to talk to me when we see each other in passing. I'm 24. 17 is legal in my state. Should I go for the # close?

There is a hot blond bombshell that works at my local grocery store. This was our first interaction a few weeks ago. Her: That'll be 9.50...oh, wait sorry, 12.35. Me: Not cool... Her: Yeah, I agree, that wasn't cool, my bad! Me (smile): It's all good...I'd just like to see a manager to file a formal complaint Her: Haha...no manager here, again! Me: Well I'll be writing a series of letters. Her (smirk): Well I'll be sure to get the mail first so I can destroy them Me: Hmm...good luck Anddd then I…

I'm definitely leveling up in the kitchen lately. Food just tastes like 10X better when it's something healthy and delicious that I made from a recipe!

One time last year I ended up having to spend the night at the DC airport when my connecting flight got canceled. I picked a random area to crash in, and woke up a little later and got to talking to this girl who was about my age and also crashing nearby me. She and her dad were also stranded overnight but were heading home to the opposite end of the country from me. Anyways, this girl and I talked the whole rest of the night...crazy connection. It sounds cheesy but we talked for like 6+ hours a…
