Oh, I don’t know about Depp, he sounds the creepy one, tbh, and women often listen to men so well that men think the woman likes the same things as them. But what you described re the ex, that hits true re men I’ve known before, and it’s also exactly what my brother does. I’ve started keeping quiet and walking away, but he goads our mom in a way that is so cruel, and I can see he is enjoying her distress.

What helps in that frozen moment, is to direct the attention back onto him, even if you’re just saying, “your shirt is blue.” It helps break that deer-in-the highlights moment the scrote is banking on to get compliance. And then keep asking questions to him back, or making personal comments about him, like “oh you wear dockers?” “Why do you ask?” And keep up the follow up questions. He’s trying to make you freeze, you can get out of it by questioning and commenting on HIM, back.

I have a similar situation. In my immediate family, literally everything is done for the men, and my mother set that tone by doing everything for my dad. Now, neither he nor my brother respect her. And I don’t talk to them unless we are on a family visit because enough. This training, though, and all that lib-fem ra-ra noise I grew up with, made it seem okay to ask men out, and I am forcing myself to calm down and stay back.

They are completely golddigger scrotes. I am constantly being approached by weak scrotes looking for a free ride, so now my OLD profiles say I'm in government admin, and not law (the real job). Even then, I've had men ask me about my benefits and salary. I know femininity coaches can get shit for saying a woman should be ultra-feminine and not worry about their accomplishments, but frankly, any man who is checking out what you do and make is out to use you.

You’re lucky, people stood up for you. When I complained about inappropriate behavior from other students, or even, dammit, security guards, no one cared. I had to get a lawyer to deal with a creeping coworker. They all acted as if I was making too big deal out of nothing, or even saying, well it’s because you’re pretty.

I don't feel sorry for her, she put herself in this situation. I just stopped a conversation with a guy from Bumble who would not take no when I said it over the phone and chat, and would not agree to vaccination when I pointed out I was high risk. He was otherwise cute and funny. I'd hate to think what else he would ignore. So, basically, if men are negging you, you’re actually very attractive? In my community, both men and women and anyone really will look for something to pick on, anything, and with me, it’s usually my smaller height, or how I’m curvy, no matter my size, so that’s what they’ll say about me: short or “fat” or “short and fat” even if it’s not exactly true bc body shape. As someone who is child free and older, I demand the same, because I’ll be looking after that man and making sure he is supported. Women give up a lot in their lives when they marry, and put up a lot with in-laws, and probably step kids, so it’s only fair to get decent jewelry.
