Earn less in the aggregate--this, and every other "wage gap" argument, imply or explicitly argue women are actively paid less for the literal same work.

I wonder if their female CEO is paying herself 21% less.

When we covered rape law in my criminal law class, one girl loudly and angrily proclaimed implied consent was not a thing and went off about entitlement and men. I raised my hand and said does your boyfriend ask permission before kissing you? Do you ask him? No? So you're sexually assaulting him? silence

Imagine if she got pregnant.

See, I can completely understand that.

Let's reverse it; the woman de facto consents to birthing the baby when she has sex with a man, consensually and without protection thus risking a baby. He can't force her to keep it, even if he wants the baby. But she can force him to pay for it if he doesn't want it?

This argument is flawed, though. Yes, it takes two. But if the baby was unplanned, and both parties were irresponsible, then both are at fault. What happens next is the flaw--both parties are at fault, but one controls the outcome of the situation. The man has NO say in how the situation is handled. The woman has complete control. Equal fault and equal responsibility needs to produce equal options.

I was contacted by administration and asked to speak with them about my thoughts/concerns, and that they would be interested in applying them constructively to better the program and make it more balanced. Provided that actually happens, I am content with the response.

I just wish the majority would take the time to look at both sides of these issues.

I did. I just wrote an email to HR and several of my schools Deans. Of, say, a dozen examples....2 involved men. And the aggressors were men. Not one female aggressor. EDIT: For clarity, I don't really feel "harassed." It's more of a confusion over why the program was so one-sided.

Thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts. It makes me feel better whenever I talk to/hear the views of a woman with the views you expressed.

Will do! I wasn't aware of that sub. Sorry dudes! Still new to this one.

With her standards, she'll never find a guy worthy enough to take her out. Besides, he'd have to plan this date with her weeks in advance.

The viewpoint from which it's being presented. It's written as though men are clueless fools and women are just "stuck dealing." It's extremely sexist.

So the author is secretly Taylor Swift, then?

Haha all good. I know a fairly equal amount of guys and gals that are quite talented cooks, actually!
/r/MensRights14/09/14 04:39 AM

Haha come on now! I wish I could cook on a chef's level.

My comment was referring to the article's implication that only women cook.

And making lists of things men SHOULD KNOW, DAMN IT, isn't sexist, either. The logic used by these sorts is absurd.

And, quite frankly, a bitch. I mean, really? What a bitch. If a guy said that same line, I'd call him a fucking douchebag.

I was also glad to see some women jumping in there and pointing out the bullshit. If "equality" is going to be a thing, it needs to be brought about by both genders not abiding by any bullshit by either.

Oh fun, I compiled my own responses when a jackass friend of mine shared this as "the fucking truth, dudes." Allow me to share mine as well! Although it was more about picking apart the one-sided logic. This is not gender-specific. To imply otherwise is extremely sexist. This is not gender-specific. To imply otherwise is extremely sexist. It's the person, not the gender, that drives. Women have the literal birth part, but men play a role here too. I forgot. Men don't cook. Schedules are a wholly …

I just love how if this article was titled with the genders swapped, there'd be a fucking uproar.

Because men don't cook, either. It's "assumed" women will (and can) whereas we....can't? Stupid.

Also...men don't...know what they want? I didn't know I didn't know what I wanted until now.

Also, this is a completely one-sided article. This is literally reverse-sexist.

You just described my life. I do the same thing. Literally. Every part of what you wrote. My advice? Just go with your gut. Never apologize or feel stupid.

I like my look. It's a button down, jeans, and semi formal shoes, skate shoes, or "nice" sneaker type shoes (like what Aldo sells). All of the above are typically designer brands. "Fashionable" if you would. My button downs are a variety of colors and designs, 90% of which are from Guess. My jeans vary in style and color, all from Express. My look is solidly the same. But it's execution varies enough to not always leave me looking "the same." Keep your new look. Just add variety within it, if yo…

"Immediately, she's WAY into it, so I do what I do with all my little Asian girls... I lift her up into the air, caveman style, and plop her down on the bench against the wall." That, my friend, was the most awesome thing I've read on /r/seduction. As a fellow fan of petite Asian girls (little in this context makes me feel like a pedo), I salute you and agree with the lifting and propping move. That was a favorite of mine with my last ex (5 foot nothing Korean girl); I'm 5 foot 8.
