I’ve already posted above, 50% of women over age 65 are single compared to only 20% of men. That’s a huge difference, and those lonely women are most likely miserable. Who wants to be alone in old age? If you’re a woman you have a 50% chance of being a miserable lonely coot basically.

Lol this has nothing to do with Chad. All I'm saying is I wouldn't want to be lonely in old age, so I don't really see how all these lonely women are happy. If I were them I would get into a relationship.

By the time I’m old enough to have Alzheimers it’ll probably be cured. Still better to be with the love of your life than alone late in life. Being single is something that is fine in your 20’s and 30’s, not after

The ones with partners often do. Even if they're not literally holding hands, they died while still being in love with someone that cared about them. The worst is dying alone, with no lifelong companion. I hope I never experience that.

I’m young yes, but how does that matter? I’m sure every normal person wants to grow old and die with their loved one over being alone at the end of their life

I think most men do indeed want to be in a relationship in old age so this checks out. I woulda assumed its the same for women too. I can’t imagine not living with the love of my life in old age.

True but this is just what proportion of women and men are single past 65 I think its both men die earlier, and also men date younger. So that leaves a bunch of older single women out there. I don't necessarily envy that position though, I think it's rather sad. They might be happier than sexless men, but sexless men are less than 5% of the population (95% of men get married). Older single women are 50% of the population though which is a lot more prevalent.

https://www.pewresearch.org/social-trends/2020/08/20/a-profile-of-single-americans/ 50% of older women die alone whereas 20% of men do so (approximating by who is single at old age) Really don’t think lonely old women are having the last laugh

Why?
/r/PurplePillDebate25/04/21 01:37 AM

Yeah the way I see it, I'm not trained to stop a crime from taking place. I'll leave it up to the experts (police). My responsibility as a citizen is just to inform the police when I see a crime taking place. That's all there is to it. The only time I'll interfere myself is if it's my family or something.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/04/21 12:32 AM

It depends on the crime. Stealing a car? Call the police. Stealing a beer? Let it go Rape? Call the police You really can't understand the difference?

Not your business? That's a good way to get yourself shot or something. Call the police when a crime is taking place.

Yup, most people in this thread are whining too much. You can achieve that body natty, it just takes many years of consistent training. Roids just get you there much faster.

No it isn't. No one forces you to take roids, you can get there natty. If you use roids and have health problems, that's on you.

Hmm what's wrong then, why do you want out of the marriage? Is she a SAHM? You may have to think about the financial implications as well. Not sure this is the correct sub for advice though. There are very few older experienced men on here that aren't already jaded. I read in another comment you have 2 sons right? Whatever you do, you gotta keep them in mind. I feel like a universal measure of positive masculinity for dads is how they're there for their kids (inb4 some english major roasts me fo…

Damn it sounds like this marriage is close to over dude. Just make sure you have everything set so this marriage doesn't end like the last And perhaps Rollo's advice is actually good for you haha, maybe skip the marriage thing next time. If you wanna learn more about dating you can read Models. Idk if there's any book that is good for becoming a better man though, because everyone's definition of what makes a good man is different.

You're not looking for dating advice but instead for advice on how to be a better man? As in more financially successful, or becoming a positive role model, or what exactly?

Ah ok, I think I agree. The victim complex men on here seem to have is tiring. They'll blame everything but themselves. Not sure I agree that the average man is a victim of the patriarchy though. The system we have in the US today, the only thing holding a man back from success is his lack of effort/intelligence. The average man doesn't put in a lot of effort or has enough intelligence to be successful. Isn't it justified that men who provide value benefit? This is just capitalism. Can't be a bu…

Not billionaire, but there are definitely rich people who are dumb enough to not invest. Think pro athletes Its often a reason why most of them go broke. If they simply invested their money and kept a reasonable SWR they would never run out of money.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/04/21 12:25 AM

They are doing something valuable. They are keeping that money invested majority of the time, which helps the economy and helps everybody. If anything we should tax assets that don’t stimulate the economy. One way is through a land value tax.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/04/21 10:07 PM

It just sounds bitter to me (which is in line with this sub anyways haha). Taking more money from people who have it is not the right solution. The rich already pay the majority of the taxes by a wide margin. Instead, maybe the government should allocate those funds properly.

Depends on who you are. Look at it like wealth inequality. Rich people obviously don’t see anything wrong with it. Poor people see a lot wrong with it. Same concept but with sex instead. Now whether equality needs to be achieved is another topic. Personally I see nothing wrong with wealth inequality, and likewise I see nothing wrong with dating inequality either

I honestly wonder how that would work. If every male was 6’, then women would want a man who’s 6’6. If every man was 6’6, then women would want a man who’s 7’, if we generally agree that taller than average = more attractive. Of course being taller comes with health problems, but I’m curious it we could select our height what would the actual male ideal height be. Because being 6’ will no longer be special if every man was 6’.

Basically yes. You can be an alpha bux still, which is what the video describes. You don’t necessarily have to be a beta bux. Its a difference in mentality. The beta bux is giving his resources to women in exchange for a crumb of pussy. The alpha bux is dangling his resources to do whatever he wants with women. Of course this doesnt work on all women, only on gold diggers. But hey, pussy is pussy

True the sugar babies in the harem arent exclusive to the man, so its not a true harem. Though if he’s rich enough I suppose he could work something like that out. I dont think its that uncommon though, cheating is rampant among rich men. As the saying goes, a man is only as faithful as his options. And one thing you aren’t considering is that these marriages are basically business transactions. Their wives are literally marrying them for their money. They don’t have any self respect, they are g…

Open relationships are different. I was speaking more of one sided open relationship where only the man sleeps around. This usually occurs when a HVM marries a “poor” woman or a woman much lower value than him. If she wants him, she has to follow his rules. The trade off is she becomes a millionaire by proxy so it’s worth it for her. Also not necessarily. Just simple rich men can also have harems. They generally pay for it, they’ll have multiple sugar babies etc. The wife and kids are for keepin…
/r/PurplePillDebate03/04/21 08:09 PM
1

It generally is. HVM want harems, which implies his wife stays exclusive to him. This is basically a male fantasy, only truly HVM can live it out though. That's why I find the men who chase pussy here pathetic. If you want to become a HVM you don't do it thru learning "game", you do it by becoming a really successful/rich man who women will do anything to lock down. Similar to what the video said.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/04/21 07:55 PM

Ehh I suppose yeah, but it's one sided. It's more like they turn a blind eye to it. But yeah I see your point
/r/PurplePillDebate03/04/21 07:09 PM

Well not every rich guy has this arrangement lol I’m just saying a lot of HVM do. Bezos clearly didn’t. Guys like Elon Musk probably do though. I mean he literally had a starter wife...
/r/PurplePillDebate03/04/21 06:35 PM
2

HVM do cheat and their wives do allow it. This is nothing new. Look at celebs or pro athletes. They all have groupies, and they are married. Their wives know. It’s an arrangement. Their wives get an easy life, husband sleeps around with beautiful women, but still keeps a good public image by being married/having family etc. Its win win for everyone

Lol I said in another comment that a virgin and a virgin who got his first gf are not really very different experience wise. They are both relatively clueless. I was just challenging that her boyfriends approach to dating isn’t a very good one even though it worked 1 time, as evidenced by him being an “incel” (apparently im using that term wrong but whatever)
/r/PurplePillDebate03/04/21 02:32 AM

You wanna take dating advice from someone who barely has any experience? Doesn't make sense

True that. Its just the most likely scenario.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/04/21 02:11 AM

I don’t get why she’s being so defensive. Her boyfriend was literally an incel before dating her, and she is acting as if her boyfriend has cracked the code for dating. Even a broken clock is right 2 times a day. I’m not trying to diss her boyfriend, I’m just saying his example is not a good one. Most men here have probably had more dating success than her boyfriend.

Femcel I guess? I’m not too familiar with the terminology

/r/PurplePillDebate02/04/21 10:50 PM

Most men are not incels so yes, your bf is not a good example for most men. It would be like a surgeon asking his assistant how to operate. It doesn't make sense. He may be a good example for other incels, that's about it.

/r/PurplePillDebate02/04/21 10:03 PM

That’s debatable though. If you meet a ton of women, you’re more likely to find one that suits you perfectly. It’s simply harder to meet that many women irl so you have lower chances of finding that good fit. But yeah I was speaking more from a casual dating perspective
/r/PurplePillDebate02/04/21 08:16 PM
3

Tbf, you’re literally dating a former incel.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/04/21 07:40 PM

Nah if you’re decent looking, online gives you way more options to choose from and takes way less effort. I’m not “Chad” but meet more women online than I could irl.

I understand what you mean. Perhaps the best thing to do is to go to a bar when it's not crowded, like on an off night or something, and just get some practice ordering drinks when the bartenders attention is solely on you. Great way to get familiar with the staff too if you plan on going back frequently. Odds are the bartender will still favor you on a busy night. But I think mostly this falls into the category of simply not giving a fuck. If you're a newbie and you screw up, so what? Is the ba…

Yeah tipping is a big thing in the US and there's always debates on how much to tip and all that stuff. If you hang out on reddit you'll probably see a bunch of that. As for opening tabs, it can get confusing because some people might want to pay per drink but most bartenders prefer if you open a tab, but a newbie won't realize that.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/01/21 12:04 AM

I'm from the US and I've always known how to order a drink even with no prior experience. I'm guessing maybe he's talking about proper etiquette like opening a tab, when/how much to tip or whatever The only thing was I didn't understand all the fancy terms so I had to ask sometimes
