| – | How would you feel if he or she is with you for the money?Consenting adults can enter into relationships for any reason and on any basis they choose, I guess. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 25/10/23 12:15 AM |
| – | How would you feel if he or she is with you for the money? When I was younger and idealistic it was a depressing thought. Now I'm older, the prospect of being with a woman who mostly cares about money is just fine. All relationships are transactional anyway, and life is short. That loyal woman who loves you for 'who you are' could just as quick get bored, find someone else, whatever. Get what you can, while you can, and enjoy it for what it is, not for what you wish it would be. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 24/10/23 10:47 PM |
| – | Men scaremonger women about being old and alone because that is their fearI'm always impressed by how women of all ages handle being single. Most have friends and hobbies and seem quite content. I think women view men as a pleasant diversion and are willing to couple up, but they don't need a man. Whereas a huge proportion of men become a void of pure misery without female intimacy and companionship. It's all nature at work, imho. It's no use telling men to be more like women. It's not a choice. Men need women and will feel despair without one. But women will get by O… | /r/PurplePillDebate | 19/10/23 10:08 PM |
| 1 | Men would probably simp less and be desperate for female company if they just got more positive reinforcement/affirmation in their everyday life, I will explain in better detail what I meanPossibly, but I tend to think there is something deep-seated and innate about a man's need for female companionship as the focal part of his wellbeing - the respect, adoration, sexual desire, everything that comes with it. Without that, there's something missing within, unfulfilled, and no amount of respect from wider society (and not even any amount of wealth and success) can compensate for that lack. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 12/09/23 06:20 PM |
| 3 | No matter how good-looking a man is, he isn't able to escape the burden of competence. For the best-looking guys, there is no burden of competence. If a guy is a 10 or a 9 but a personal failure, he may have to settle for an 8 or 7. But that 8 or 7 will put up with a heck of a lot just to lay claim to him. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 18/02/23 04:15 AM |
| 3 | Are women choosing to be single because it's easier?I believe that men need women on a fundamental level in order to be happy and fulfilled. I don't believe the same is true for women. I don't think a significant number of women are complaining about men. It's a minority of Very Online women. They are the ones who derive some kind of satisfaction from diminishing men's problems. But the general social trend I see with women is liking men if they are swipeable and being indifferent if they're not. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 14/02/23 05:33 AM |
