Technically it's up to the individual man whether he could "get over" anything in regards to his partner. Speaking as a formerly promiscuous man, I've personally struggled with worthiness to my future bride, and potential side effects of my BC days. That being said, Rahab was a prostitute in Jericho before being married into the ancestral line of King David and eventually Christ himself, Abigail was married when she first met David, and Ruth was a widow when she met Boaz. The Lord has redeemed a…

Tbh if y'all're on that level of bluntness and comfortability, this is definitely the most humorous way to present this request.

I mean my instinct is just, if I wanna talk to her, I'mma just text her, get a temp check, purpose a date myself if she doesn't respond the first day. But I'm also no expert myself, I'll defer to the brotherhood. EDIT: I accept the downvote of shame, even though the replies kinda agreed with me. T_T

This is why we need to renormalize abstinence before marriage and bring dating back within your own circle. If we can all agree that sex has universal, irreversible emotional consequences, then we need to all act accordingly in our own self-interest. That's all any of us can do; we can't control other people, we physically cannot. It's like raising a teenager, in my case having been this teenager to my parents: sometimes you can say the same thing a million times and people will still do the exa…

Oh that's my B, lemme clarify what I mean. Most guys, myself included, will easily have sex with someone they find even marginally attractive that they have no intention of wifing up if that woman propositioned them for sex. Men by nature are opportunistic with sex because we have a biological desire to spread our seed, whereas women are naturally selective with sex because they have to choose who's seed they spread. If a man refuses to have sex with a woman, there's a MUCH bigger issue with the…

I actually am in my early twenties! I've had my share of sexual partners in the past, each one which I've been increasingly careful with because of bad circumstances ending the relationships, be it cheating, falling for another, drug abuse, etc. I just went through a breakup with a girl who I thought I was going to marry and it's been the most painful breakup I've ever been through and I'm still not over it. Part of my intention to wait is that I've realized that sex makes me bound to someone th…

I don't see this question as relevant to the argument. If a woman can attract sex from a man far beyond their sexual marketplace value, their biological hypergamy physically will not allow them to look at men below the rating they can attract, at least not without serious self-awareness and effort to change on the part of the woman herself. From a biological perspective, getting to our monkey mindset, that woman found a high value man willing to put his children inside her, and the body doesn't …

I would actually argue that if I'm going to have sex with a girl first, I'm significantly less likely to pursue a relationship with marriage or dating at the end. Maybe I'm an externality, but if I'm gonna fuck first, ask questions later, I'm 100% not considering this girl as relationship material. Every girl I've dated that I considered marriage material, I made wait for sex, because I don't find attractive the woman who will instantly resort to their sexuality to attract me. It usually means t…

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
