Good point. The biggest problem I can see is even having a "woman/man" of your dreams in the first place.

Yeah. Your beautiful Ukrainian women straight out of her home village will cotton on to what she has been missing before long. I have seen many a man think it will be different for them - to their cost.

I don't understand the Henry VIII reference she keeps making?

. One girl was laughing right in front of me when a bully asked her if she'd wanna fuck me. I was thrown underneath a metaphorical bus. A few years later, I'm banging her with a fitter, thinner body. I wouldn't have given her the satisfaction.

It doesn’t really matter though, women in their 40s aren’t really into younger guys Are you 100% sure about that?

I think the line of thinking is similar to the one behind concepts such as : "all women are like that"; cuckold fantasies; and Madonna-whore complexes. By that I feel that you can be simultaneously appalled and frightened by a behaviour, ie: women finding young men attractive, but then rationalise away the feelings when they become too burdensome as part of our simian heritage.

Yeah. You see it around in the faces of young guys at the gym. They seem to have a desperation to build a body in order to tick some kind of box that will allow them to be attractive to women.

In real life...naturally.

Sadly, I have seen the cuckold as quite often a well-meaning, unassuming guy who sees the good in his partner only for her to either physically sleep with (an)other man, or for her to maintain all manner of emotional affairs, crushes or flirtations.

It maybe comes in different guises. I have observed some women in their forties (and I experienced it a lot as a much younger man) will sometimes become crushed-on, and/or obsessed by, a much younger man at some point. Often it will run alongside a marriage that could be going well or not. It has been explained at a number of levels; one of them being a need for a woman to seek better genetics than her current partner in order to procreate one last time before menopause. Contrary to what the OP …

Doubt it. I think possibly that you have just picked up the reality away from web sites and forums.

Yep. Alpha widows. The also intersect with that tedious group in humanity that feels they have 'come down from better things' : previous bigger house, better job they got made redundant from, any of that stuff. They are best left to their inability to make a mature go of their current situation.

Rose McGowan's first tweet emphasised how she had only known Asia Argentina for ten months after the Harvey Weinstein allegations. Clearly she can't even get an angle on whether or not she wants to disown the woman or completely re-assess her own take on metoo movement.

Good long point, but I was "lanky' for years felt self conscious and was teased. Now not lanky - feel better. Have also done and docountless other sports and martial arts in the same way that millions of people whom I am no better than have as well. Lanky is more often than not an insult.

Just out of interest, what effect did the guy saying he "felt bad for you" have on you? Great post by the way. I get the lanky and no confidence bit - I was the same - my advice to any guy who is lanky would be to get on with doing something about it, as no matter how good looking you are it will hold you back if only in the sense of how you see yourself.

I can see the context there, to be fair.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
