I have read advice on here that being informal, like acting as if you are already girlfriend and boyfriend, can actually be better and help get things going. If you act extremely comfortable around her, she may be able to start to see how you could be as a boyfriend and possibly like it. What do you guys think? This is just advice that I've read on here before.

I've heard contrary advice on this subreddit. A lot of guys encourage taking the lead and eliminating options. For example, "There's this great restaurant I know around the corner that I want to take you to. Let's go." Many guys have said that this type of initiative allows the girl to be in a "swept off her feet" situation. I'm interested in the OPs issues because I feel the same way. Girls are constantly flaking.

Nice. It takes time but it can be done. Kudos!

Thank you for the correction. I am an idiot. I honestly wasn't told any fairy tales but I have ideas of how I think the world works and of course I am learning every day and changing said ideas. Like I said multiple times in my post, please forgive my naivety, I'm new to the subreddit and people like you definitely don't make it inviting at all. Thanks for being that random asshole that shows up to berate the OP. I was simply asking a question. This post was not a declaration.

Rosetta Stone sucks. Don't use it unless you want to waste a lot of your time. In my opinion, the best way to learn a language would be to use the Assiml series, made popular in Europe, where the people usually learn to speak three or four languages. I also implement watching a lot of videos and if they are instructional, it's even better. For French: I watched the series French In Action probably four times through. My speaking may not be up to par but considering I started studying seriously i…

Haha, they find it interesting. I'm probably at an intermediate letter but it's all self taught. People think it's cool and always ask me to say something in it (of course). Haha, I'm learning to gain more confidence in just speaking it though. Definitely need confidence it get better in speaking another language just because you're going to sound stupid at first. French is a very beautiful language and the French can be strict on how their language is spoken but it's not one of the harder langu…

I'd also like to add that learning a new language could be a new way to learn about new cultures and grow as an individual. There are numerous advantages!

Does anyone else think getting a female cat as a pet could help with understanding women?

Exaclty what I was looking for. Thanks for the responses guys. I already consider myself pretty funny and I can tell when I've gotten a girl attracted to me. I just don't have a place to take her or a way to take her anywhere so I was looking more advice along the lines of this comment. I guess it's self explanatory but now PUA still live at home with their parents and need other people to drive them around, Haha, am I right?

Typical guy that is generally attractive but has trouble creating sexual relationships, mainly friendships. How does one go about changing that?

This subreddit is exactly what I've needed in my life but my main problem is that my actual life is not in order. I'm flat broke, I'm living out of my friend's garage and I'm desparately trying to upgrade my life before I can invite a girl along. I also don't really know what I'm doing even though I've been told I'm attracted and people find it odd that I have such a hard time with the ladies. I know I just need to implement the ideas in this thread but at the same time, I don't have a life that…

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
