One of my friends said that moving out when you're 18 can be an proof. He was kicked out at 18 and made multiple moves before his 26th birthday. School either didn't promote anything or he never really paid attention.

He is looking into scholarships, but we're unsure of other means of financial aid here in California.

Personally, I didn't know until my dad told me on my 18th birthday. My school never mentioned anything about it. Or if they did, I was too busy with school, work, and extra curriculars to notice. He was kicked out of his parents' at 18 and made multiple moves between that time and his 26th birthday, so I don't think he ever received anything official in the mail.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
