Time is the worst problem I consistently run into. And from a security and political standpoint, it being far away is a good thing. The Falklands are about as close to an antipode to the UK as you can get, which means putting a military base, even if it’s just a glorified fuel depot, allows them to more effectively project force across the full surface of the globe. Actually works on any double stack, double feed mag. The feed lips are actually farther apart than the width of a cartridge, they only retain the rounds because the rounds stagger and press against the sides of the mag as well. If you line up the round in the middle, you can just push it in. Works on AR mags, Uzi mags, AK mags, etc., etc.

Yeah, though iirc, the total cost of entry is pretty low. I want to say the franchise fees are only about 5k. I’d reckon the same reason farmers are often overweight anymore: they haven’t adapted their diets to compensate for farming meaning a whole lot of tractor riding these days.
