I think that while it may need trimming, it's not about length. I think that some sentences and phrasing used in a couple places use a lot of words to say very little. Not saying to take out any humorous tidbits, etc. This is all only if you're trying to examine the writing with a fine tooth comb. I thoroughly enjoyed your post and it was very well written! To execute these plans, there is a lot of legwork necessary that requires security clearance, cabinet member, etc. No candidate had that level of planing. I believe there to be adequate information to make a judgment call on who to vote for. The role of the citizen is to ensure that their representatives abide by the values of the constituents.

While that is definitely a valid possibility, you say it like it's an inevitability. It's not impossible for this to work out fine. And even if it does go down, it doesn't have to go down in flames like you suggested. I bet he would have an exit strategy quickly made up by the time it got to a boiling point and be able to avoid it "blowing up in his face" as you said.

I think it's a stupid thing to worry about. Don't stress about it. Its an asshole move to cheat but it's already done. It differs from person to person but if you can stomach it, don't tell her. Men who want to better themselves. Now I understand how that would make you think that a bunch of the user base needs drastic improvement but in my experience, the people who realize they need the most improvement are those who are already successful. Becasue they know that to be successful, you must constantly strive to better yourself. Most people who are unsuccessful in life won't put themselves out there nor work too hard to better themselves. I was BP at the time and surprisingly, I adopted this mentality immediately when I was diagnosed. It's part of that survival mentality. I've recently swallowed the pill and in my opinion, either you're Alpha at heart or you're a Beta at heart (but it can be trained). When the survival instinct kicks in, you'll know.
