I think your parents are right and this is an awful deal. So you would be paying for the food and presumably preparing all the food too? Would you also be paying for food for his kids when they are there? Do you have any idea of the level of cleanliness he would be expecting of you in a home that already has a housekeeper twice a week? What happens if he decides to cut them back or get rid of them all together? It sounds like it's already assumed that you would be at least picking up after the k…

I totally agree - that's why I never brought up wealth. I don't think that someone with a temper is necessarily abusive, but we all have different opinions on that.

But she doesn't list basic decency and a will to improve oneself as her standards. She listed anger, addiction, porn and following Instagram models as deal breakers for her. Many HVM have tempers (anger...) and many more have gone through their own trials and tribulations to become the men they are. Just because someone hasn't lived the life of a perfect story book prince doesn't mean they aren't a HVM.

Are you perfect? It sounds like you're expecting an obscure ideal of perfection from a man and that's just not possible, no matter how high value a person is. I'm not saying to settle for someone without integrity at all, just that it you actually want to find someone you're going to have to accept a flawed human.

I grew up like this. I'm the oldest girl of 4 kids, 2 girls, 2 boys. None of us have a good relationship with my mom. My sister and I resent her for making us do more and not treating us as well. My brothers resent her for not teaching them anything and their inability to care for themselves.

Is he trying to get you to dress more like them maybe? Or maybe he's hoping you want a threesome? I'm kinda leaning towards the second one, this is odd behavior

My white Keds make my feet look a little smaller. But for the most part you're going to need to try things on and see what works for you.

You will find someone again, but now is not the time to think about that. You're in charge of your family now and it's time for you to toughen up and be a badass mama bear to your kids. You do not owe this man anything, you owe your children everything, TAKE HIM FOR EVERYTHING. You need guidance? Go find yourself a good attorney to guide your through this process. Funnel the anger and frustration and the emotions into moving your family forward.

Honestly I think he is - and if this is the case, I'm thinking your infections might not be so accidental. Regardless of potentially sleeping with men, this is extreme evidence of an utter lack of hygiene - I don't know you, but I do know you deserve a man who can competently clean himself. Especially since he KNOWS you are getting these infections. The fact that he isn't assuming it's coming from you, or potentially another man you're sleeping with, is pretty telling to me.

Sounds like he has a poop dick? I'm gonna go out on a limb here and say that you can find someone better.

The basis of what I do is practical with some fun easy artistic elements added in. I love having it as an easy outlet to express my creativity. I was in the planner community for almost 3 years and tried a bunch of different solutions. At the end of the day, a bullet journal was by far the most useful to me. It was also the least expensive. I have ADD and work part time as an attorney and half the time SAHM, with pretty big baking/cooking and gardening hobbies. I would not be able to function, l…

I bullet journal! I use a Rhodia Goalbook. I love that I can keep half my brain on paper and always keep it with me. It's a godsend for productivity and stress relief.

There have been some really great suggestions here so far. Two others are pompoir and ashwagandha. Pompoir is a series of pelvic exercises that give you more control of the muscles. It's fun for your partner AND it makes you more sensitive and increases your blood flow. I found some great resources on Reddit about it. Ashwagandha is an herbal supplement. I've noticed my libido has gone way up since being on it.

This person isn't your friend. She badmouthed you while you weren't around. That's why she stopped talking whenever you're came around or left the room. She most likely badmouthed you about things similar to what you were doing when your called her out on it (it sounds like in front of people?). I wouldn't hang out with her again, or if you do you need to be much smarter about it. You shouldn't be over sharing with anyone you don't know if you're can trust. There is something appealing about a w…

Don't pressure yourself to be perfect too quickly. You'll get the hang of handling the family's cooking and be able to slowly add to it and make it more complicated. Even if I don't do all my shopping at once, I do all my meal planning on Saturday or Sunday. This lets me get a good idea of my time for the week ahead and where I can overlap ingredients and preparations and also let's me keep our proteins and flavors varied.

Definitely get a slow cooker it's a life saver!! You can also bulk coat basic shredded chicken breasts or pork loins for different applications during the week (all sorts of chicken salads, rice bowls, tacos, burritos, pizzas etc. etc.)

A feminine woman who is dominant. There are many women who run their homes with feminine grace and are still in charge. Off the top of my head watching Chip and Joanna Gaines - I would certainly call her feminine, but at least in terms of their business relationship, she seems to be the dominant decision maker.

I don't think anyone is purely dominant or submissive. Those qualities are directly related to the relationship being discussed. There are plenty of women who are dominant at work or amongst other women who are submissive to their husbands. If you're meaning more the difference between feminine and masculine women - there are also plenty of feminine women who are not submissive to their husbands. My husband wants me strong so that I can be an asset to our family and not just a burden for him to …

I wouldn't be able to submit if I didn't think my feelings mattered. Dominance and submission are a power exchange relationship where BOTH sides receive something from the other. My husband and I have some traditional distributions of labor. I'm the only one who cooks in my home, ultimately that makes me the dominant decision maker in what is made and when. I 100% take my husband's feelings into consideration when I meal plan but I get to decide if I have the time to make something extra this we…

I think that really depends. Not all moral disagreements are equal and almost none are black and white. But this is why the communication is also important - I don't blindly submit to things I disagree with. This is probably really nuanced for people's individual relationships, but in many ways it can be seen a relationship between a leader and a counselor. Just because I'm submissive doesn't mean I don't have a valued voice.

I think a really big part of submission is the constant communication that happens regarding boundaries. It's really hard to know what your boundaries are until you're pushing up against them. I find a significant amount of my submission comes out in vulnerability - the trust and safety that has been developed in that space is really amazing.

I don't think anyone is micro-agressing against you. It sounds like you are constantly on the defensive looking for any small thing to be upset about. I don't think any of this has to do with them, it sounds like it's pretty internal. Take a deep breath and just worry about yourself. Stop caring how your actions make other people presumably "feel". You have no idea. Actually you have less than no idea because of the cultural barrier. It sounds like you need to start a Nun-mode and just work on y…

It sounds like he has told you exactly how he wants to handle this and you just need to actually follow through on your end. Making money for a home and taking care of a home are both important things and it honestly seems like he respects that more than you do right now. You contribute with cooking and cleaning and managing the household - WHICH WOULD HAVE TO BE PAID FOR IF NEITHER OF YOU DID THEM. You are providing something that has a price tag even if it isn't so obvious. He wants to bring I…

Does it have to be either of these guys? It doesn't sound like either of them really arouse you - they are just people who are good on paper. Doesn't mean that they couldn't turn into something, just you may not have found the guy for you yet. I know this sub talks a lot about how marriages are partnerships and knock you on your butt love isn't necessarily needed, but there is a certain amount of passion and excitement needed in a lasting relationship. Ultimately, if a guy isn't going to excite …

Honestly, I would give some serious thought to having your husband take over the finances. From what you wrote it sounded like that's the thing that is pushing you over the edge. It's also one of the things you can do to kinda make it feel more like he is handling the money for the family. Laura Doyle has some good stuff about this particular thing in her Empowered Wife book.

Roast a chicken! So delicious and not too messy. I love roasting a whole spatchcocked chicken over cabbage (you can use extra chicken shmaltz to make the cabbage even more incredible). You can then turn the leftovers into chicken salad for lunch. Another good option like this is making a great steak (plan to make extra on the rare side) and then you leftovers with eggs in the morning. I'm not sure if these are neat enough but I wouldn't think they are super messy.

I love baking! I make challah every week for shabbat, but I'm also making yeast donuts (suffganiyot) for Hanukkah tonight. I have a bunch of cookies and such to make for the Christmas holiday too. If you're looking for something super impressive and ridiculously easy I recommend candied pecans for something sweet and homemade cheez it's for salty.

Since it's just your boyfriend, if you want to cut and run you definitely can. If you want to trust that you picked a good guy that just isn't being great right now, I would read the empowered wife - sorry got the title a bit wrong before. I might be considering why he's still your boyfriend after 5 years though.

It would just be forcing him to think about you with other men - it's totally unnecessary, and he even told you to not talk about it with him. Respect his wishes to not have to think about you with other men - I doubt you want to think of him with other women. I still think you should find a therapist to work on your self esteem - you deserve to feel happy about who you are. And just to throw it out there, it sounds like you didn't have a very robust sexual experiences previously, there are prob…

I would say definitely don't talk to your fiancée about this. He can love the whole you without having to be excited that you've slept with other people before him. You don't have a high body count so I think at this point your self criticism is unwarranted. This is a horrible way to feel about yourself though and you don't deserve it! If you can do therapy I would recommend it, just to help you get passed these feelings of inadequacy. Also, if you trust him so much and respect him so much, reme…

Honestly it just sounds like you need to learn how to stay on your own paper. Not just for your relationship but for your anxiety too. Time's are super crazy, it's not worth wasting any mental energy on anything that doesn't concern you. Maybe read the "Empowered Wife" it's the update to the "surrendered wife."

Honestly cycles are so variable and sperm can live inside you for up to 5 days. There's no time that anyone on the Internet could tell you would be safe for you to not get pregnant.
