I totally get where you coming from. I got her things they chose. I always get her something nice and sentimental but not this year. She has not opened hers yet. But she got me nice things from them that she has not had the boys choose, it's all things she knows I like. And even got sentimental things from them. Even wrapped them in bows and ribbons. Very true. We didn't buy a load for each other as we focused on the children and if we needed anything airways got it through the year. Going to take the boys shopping and pick out one or two things. Hopefully crap as she doesn't deserve it

Thanks for advice. Trying to switch off but its the Jekyll and Hyde i get from here. I just going to take the boys to the supermarket and they can pick something out for her. Hopefully it's something crap :)

Thank you. Needed that pick me up tonight. It's such a rollercoaster. I have many people say she's this and that and you have to move on. I'm in the process of separating and been really tough. Came out of the blue and found out after 19 years (8 married) there was someone else. We also done a special day (10th October 2010 10/10/10) and special place. (Las Vegas) So it's going to be with me forever. :(
