But this explainable by way simpler means. Raising children is work and why should a single man hook up with a single mom, which is a lot more work and a lot less flexible than a woman without kids? The reason is not some magical biological bias, but the idea of this being work. I think the whole dynamic changes, if the man knows the mum and kids better. Why? Because then there’s more than "just work".

And why is that? How many kids do you have? Did you ever rise other kids? What about alpha males who adopted children? Don't think that this is a possibility? What about alpha males raising children of someone who turned to drugs and was unable to care any longer for them. Not alpha?

You are right and most of the responses in this thread show the absurdity of the RP lore and how complex topics get overly simplified. As if there was something "biological wired" about it. Though experiment: If any of this were true (step father = beta, lesser male and loser; biological father = true winner), you should all go to the sperm donor clinic daily, because that's how you win in life according to your own definition. Furthermore, if you can't get biological children, you're doomed to …

Did you spend a single second considering raising kids in general is more than a chore? The way how you simplify this complex topic is kinda hilarious.

Negative conditioning by RP lore sounds more likely than "evolutionary biology". My educated guess is that you have no kids and are just phantasizing about some alpha male bullshit.

For sure. It's not impossible and you still have to think about contraception. Especially if you sum it up: 5% chance per year for 5-10 years (depending on when menopause starts) and an unwanted pregnancy is likely. It's just not great if you WANT to become pregnant.

Hormones. Women over 30 hear their biological clock ticking a lot louder than before. Men, not so much. They might not articulate it, but whereas women in their 20s take a few years to build a stable relationship before they get pregnant, you can see all kinds of "baby within a few months after getting to know each other" things going on with women in their 30s. Most people think fertility declines at 40 or so. Truth is, it goes down all the time beginning at 20 or so. It's very slow at first. B…

I always liked these parts of TRP: Self-improvement, learning to set boundaries, getting more self-confidence. But TRP is a lot more than this. For example, the whole thing about Dread is not only about you. I think your statement is disingenuous and reduces TRP too much to the good parts.

I might make a longer post about this soon. I read a lot of red pill stuff. Started in 2008 when the whole PUA scene became more popular and had a lot of time to digest it. The red pill describes some very interesting and intriguing concepts, but it's not "end game". There is a level beyond the red pill and that is to realize that the red pill is mostly about power imbalances and not about gender. This is true of feminism as well by the way and that's why feminists often clash with others. Femin…

Not sure what you mean. My point is: If you don't set boundaries as a human being or stop caring about yourself, you're probably getting bad relationships. It's not the other way around.

You know what the biggest failure of the red pill is? To think that any of this has to do with men or women. This is gender-neutral. If you are a fat, non-caring, filthy, mentally unstable, boring, financial immature, clinging, whiny woman, you won't have happy relationships either.

What's often overlooked to properly answer this question: Sex drive is a lot higher in both men and women when getting to know each other. So, do you compare people who just got to know each other or LTRs of several years? A side effect of hormonal contraception for women is reduced sex drive. Some studies claim this affects only 1 in 100 women. Realistically, that number is 1 in 3 or higher. And it gets higher the longer a woman is on the pill, because of some long-term hormonal effects. Of cou…

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
