Men who triangulate their daughters with their partners are the fucking worst, and its way too common. Now we've got two femmes upset at the inadequacy of one entire man. While financial hardship is real, the fact that he displayed the cake in such cold terms shows that he's been neglecting her their entire relationship. There's no love or care in his efforts, it's this weird powerplay of doing a little more than normal, but completely missing the mark on basic aspects of emotional connection. I…

If her story was put into a screenplay I'd definitely watch this movie! Just a good, lighthearted story of a woman waking up from her conditioning and leveling up❤

I read a study showing that 30% more women died from heart attacks than men, despite showing much better markers of physical health. Why such a disparity? Women were consistently denied specialist care and were told by emergency room staff that they were merely suffering from anxiety when they reported chest pain. Seeing your bf given so many pain meds, really shows how easy it is for men to become addicted to opiods and then get caught up in that mess.

Anger makes me feel alive and more beautiful and unctuous. I am a fierce femme who takes no shit and will crush a man's ego with a lambasting look. Scrotes have tried to respond that im just some angry feminist and YOURE RIGHT AND IT FEELS INCREDIBLE❤ But its definitely risky to express anger as a woman. Thankfully FDS opened my eyes to the power of walking the fuck away. I get anxious when I express anger because it's always been used against me or ignored, and its so nice that the most powerfu…

Imo, in order to have a fighting chance against porn addiction, men need to be willing to question and throw out their societal conditioning of what it means to be a man. We have all seen Men who were critical of mysoginy, but would still defend mysoginists because of this or that. They are never willing to fully throw out the trash beliefs, because they still hold out hope on the prizes that mascinity promised them. And by masculinity, I mean all of the anti-women ideology that defines masculin…

Yeah, the first impressions I'm referencing are honestly the feelings that I had, that my brain immediately squelched and my socialization kicked in, to give him a chance because he was just sooooo niiiiice🙄 I rationalized it, like it was such a great thing that I got past my judgement of him to then enjoy his company, when he was putting on a show! I fell for his fake self🤮 The ick would always come back up, and I think he could tell because then he'd pull some act of devotion or whatever...

The album is unlistenable. He's created an entire album based off the Blinding Lights aesthetic, and it feels so lazy and unoriginal, like he's about to come out with a greatest hits album very soon. And aside from the awful art direction, his insights within his songs suck, have been sung a million times before but he uses more direct, less metaphorical language to hide his shittiness. His music is squarely the anthem of the LVM!!!

I was listening to the weeknds new album today, and he has some song about the one that got away or something. He starts out the song saying that love makes him scared he runs away, etc. He ends the song languishing that he ran out of time and the opportunity is now gone to "make you mine." As the patron Saint of LVM, the weeknd shows us all that men will endlessly, loudly cry themselves to sleep....over not being able to "own" women. It's the weirdest misplacement of emotional energy I've ever …

I agree with this, and will use this strategy myself. A date during the week does feel a bit like forcing intimacy, like a weeknight date is what I would do in a relationship. Plus I won't be at my best to look for red flags, I just worked all day and need rest!

Ugh I've seen this whole "being forced to work a job is just like rape" from the left and its a big reason why I don't bother anymore with political organizing. Leftist men regularly compare trauma with inconvenience, and I don't talk to people that stupid. Moving some boxes will never be the same as a greasy man hurting you in some hotel room.

Ive seen an age gap relationship in my life where the woman is probably 20 years older, and there are such strong vibes of the guy wanting a mother figure, not a gf. Its like an oedepius complex in real life and it made me see the unbalanced aspect of age gap relationships with an older woman. The ick is truly off the charts.

During lovebombing, I'm overwhelmed and a bit in disbelief. These are good indicators of my body communicating to me what's going on. Now the challenge is to not gaslight yourself! You're overwhelmed because the guy is weird and overwhelming, not because "you're bad at accepting love" 🙄🙄🙄 (Justin Biebers "let me love you" mess of a song comes to mind). Genuine connections should feel easy and soothing, and not be twinged with intensity. Lovebombers are also inconsistent with their actions, if yo…

Men are extremely impressionable and responsive to social shame. The mysoginistic men in my family will pull no shit and support the matriarchs in my family, partially out of mommy issues (ie inherent fear and people pleasing), and because they also understand the social ramifications of being shits. Men truly are at their best when following the lead of women, if you can read between the lines of red pill rhetoric you'll see that their obsession with women is because they have little to no dire…

I came across some photos my grandfather sent to my grandmother when he was stationed in WW2. He was consistently humble and expressed his love and care for her while showing his barracks and buddies in the pictures. MRAs would label him a simp, but from my understanding he was a good man who provided for his family. I don't think that drafting men would make them better, but wow the apple has fallen VERY far from the tree; video games have made men so weak and gross.

Its a common male pass time throughout millenia to diagnose women's autonomy as a mental health disorder. Women could be sent to the sanitarium for not being into their husband's or reading "too much." It's an overt social control tactic. That being said I suspect I have autism but I will never listen to a males perspective on my diagnosis because they are almost always wrong and operating from a place of transference.

That's great to hear! My yeast infections are weird, it took me months to put the pieces together on my most recent one because they're so asymptomatic. I also have health anxiety🙃 I'm trying not to bring stigma to herpes, but for me and my makeup I know that I wouldn't handle it well emotionally.

I enjoy my "weirdness," because it nets great results. I can detect and synthesize subtleties that others never notice, that helps me achieve great reviews at work and in relationships. Quite frankly, my perspective is consistently ahead of the curve and daresay, visionary. Its my gift. With society as unhealthy as it is right now, you need to be weird in order to survive and thrive. The norm isn't sustainable, don't ever stoop to normalcy!! While herpes isn't life threatening and is essentially a cold sore on your genitals, having a cold sore on your genitals sounds so uncomfortable and my body tends to hate any long term medication I try and take, so imma defend my clean STI status very aggressively. There is a definite encouragement for women to be wishy washy and settle for a partner who doesn't value their sexual health. A guy literally got upset at me for asking to see his recent STI panel. Men who try and get you to perpetually diet are only trying to control you. It's a common cult tactic to try and control the members' food intake, because then they are more susceptible to manipulation.

I started reframing my attraction by asking this question: am I horny or seeking power (in an oppressive society)? So many of my forays into OLD was just me wanting to escape the pain of existing in this society. A little fun can't hurt, right? Well, we are conditioned to barter power and social standing with our bodies, attention, and sexualiy. Excellent, excellent post. And never for a second feel that your bids are "too much." You are feeling a real, valid need, and you deserve to express it and receive support/acknowledgement. Even if you have a mental health diagnosis, even if you have codependency, try and seek that core need and validate it without demanding the other to meet it. Lean into it, because shrinking away from your own needs will only result in you becoming smaller, emotionally.

Its truly remarkable that men really cannot gauge "if they are in the right relationship" This whole wanting to see if the grass is truly greener is such an indication that he had poor emotional health and is unable to objectively assess whether he even enjoys his relationship. I'm literally going to ask my therapist to start giving me more words of affirmation, and I go to a massage therapist to get my touch needs met. I'd usually justify staying with a scrote because of the fear of being touch starved. While she could work around the escort aspect for her safety, humans need words of affirmation and touch, and if a scrote can't give it to you then you might as well outsource that labor🤷‍♀️ Are woman escorts usually able to ask their clients about their sexual health?…

I'm opening up to the idea that it's ok to have pangs that I nor others can fulfill. I figure it's better to hold space for it than to deny it and try and fill the void with wrong things. I had the experience of my ex actually apologizing and changing his behavior, but he weaponized that and was never really sorry, bringing up a years old fight as we were breaking up, implying that he was never sorry and he knew what he was doing. The pandemic helped. I quit the toxic job in November of 2020, because it became too risky with covid. Georgia OKeefe, the famous Anerican painter, started out her career only signing her initials and pretending to be a man. It got her into a lot of shows and helped get her established enough so that she could reveal that she's a woman. Sometimes you gotta manipulate the patriarchy to get that bag.

Something doesn't sit quite right with me with this. I suspect he's almost trying to love bomb her from a distance. The fact that he couldn't work things out with his ex is huge, and flowers cannot fix the effects of poor behavior in marriage. My abusive ex would do similar things to this guy. Sounds like he's a ho deep down but is currently on the lookout for a woman to perform girlfriend duties. Men will regularly flip flop, being a ho for awhile, getting tired of it, then committing to a woman, then get tired of that and cheat. I've had blips of ho phases, but they were so short lived and I always gave it up then waited a year or two before considering a relationship that popped up in my life. The whole point of looking at luxury spaces is for inspiration, and then you take that color palette and general vibe and recreate it to your budget. Men's socialization has made it seem like any introspection whatsoever is automatically "unmasculine." When men's socialization tells them that their privilege and their survival within the social hierarchy of the patriarchy is threatened by even being a little bit unmasculine, their brains automatically equate "unmasculine" with being socially ostracized. And when a human is rejected from the group, they will tend to suffer more and may even die as a result. So it takes a uniquely strong man to…

I'm noticing that just airing out the depravity and putting words to it helps so much to advocate others and shift the cultural narrative on what's acceptable vs not. There will always be people who choose to never see the depravity, but if only a few people see it and change their perception, then that's huge. Changing society takes a lot of time, unfortunately.

Women have been dealing with harsh social consequences for innocuous things such as having their own opinions for their whole lives, yet men will blubber on and on when they lose opportunities because they hurt other people. Like bro the company is letting you go so they dont get sued because of your actions, you are definitely the problem here.

I think they have flashes of awareness, but because they aren't rational, they stuff that feeling of "omg what have I become" and seek out an addiction or new toy to try and not feel. That or they don't even get to that point, they're just on autopilot at all times. Unfortunately we are only just starting to see men experience actual social consequences for their depravity. A lot of boomer men are fully aware that they can get away with pretty much anything with the right connections, because th…

So my dad will regularly give other small children the childhood that I never had. I think its because NVM hate themselves so much deep down, that they also reject their children, and have these rose colored glasses for other kids. That and NVM run in the opposite direction when children become anything less than healthy, happy and eager for the dad's approval. Because the kids are an extension of the man, when he sees his kids not doing well it reminds him of his own mortality/vulnerability/emo…

This is so true. I process my emotions alone, and if I'm in public, I stay calm and poker face until I can relax and let it out. Men receive social benefits for being childish, they have no incentive to change. Women HAVE to grow up fast and be stoic adults at all times. Deprogramming from the patriarchy is DIFFICULT. All of the years before you found FDS, you were actively being brainwashed by many facets of society. Encountering LVM are as inevitable as the common cold. Youre not a bad person for getting a cold, and a LVM's behavior has nothing to do with you. You can only wash your hands of them and move on, with an eye to improve your immune system (aka vetting strategy). When reddit recommended a subreddit about a popular OLD app I looked at the threads about improving their profile. YALL I never cringed so hard...I wish that men would wake up and realize that men give terrible advice about what's attractive, and that the patriarchy works very hard to dissuade men from developing their own self esteem and unique sense of self. Men on OLD all look and sound the same because they refuse to develop critical thinking and question their crazy culture...its sad.

The men I've hooked up with did not know how to kiss😑 it was like a slobbery first time kiss....like these men have never kissed a woman in their life kind of kiss. And even the hot guys served bad sex, because they aren't even interested in having good sex, they just want a break from their porn addiction.

The bed frame is just the tip of the iceberg. Men like that will slowly reveal revolting hygeine habits, and then gaslight you into thinking that you're some clean freak just because you don't use towels that smell like mold.

I've given up watching movies and TV years ago, because I'd always run into the description of the movie/show sounding good and then being faced with traumatic scenes and violence. The last movie I saw in theaters advertised itself as being about fashion but it was just a long winded scene of the toxic relationship between a man and a woman. At the time I told the guy I saw it with that I'd like to watch a movie where the characters have a nice day and he thought that was irrational lol. I'm so …

Yes I've also been finding my own myofascial practice is helping the sessions i get. It helps me to reframe these relationship dynamics as trauma responses; you're in the fawn phase after you see him, where your brain is trying to find ways to hopefully make him happy so that you stay safe. Just know that your entire nervous system is trying to keep you safe, and sometimes we gotta outsmart it and say "hey, if I keep distance, I'll be safe, the old ways of people pleasing no longer work."

Somatic psychology and myofascial release for sure. A variety of body work, honestly. Anything to help you get past the denial and urge to contact him and into your body, where you can properly feel and heal. Your nervous system remembers the trauma, doing work to soothe it will help you from needing his attention.

Excellent, excellent post. I also worry that this western obsession with "communication" will be exported to other cultures. Western psychology gets a lot wrong because it was created and fostered by white, privileged men!!

I think feeling sexy outside of the act of sex is perverted, but its been drilled into our heads endlessly that it's the pinnacle of confidence. Releasing the need to be sexy when I'm just walking about in daily life has helped my self esteem so much.

"HoPE tHaT wAsNt ToO mUcH" jfc if you see that you know that a man is self aware that he said something truly shitty and wants to soften the blow. 1000% manipulation.

Its taken me a few long term relationships to really see how irrational men are. I don't go around in my daily life looking for people to exploit and harm so it was a steep learning curve to find out that that's what the average man values.

My parents had me at 35 and they were a decade older than the parents who were a part of my extracurricular activities. A man having a child at 45 and beyond is a joke, yet I see it everyday.

Honestly dissecting the patriarchy through the lens of dating has been incredibly helpful for me. Once I woke up to the games played by men in dating, the whole house of cards came tumbling down and im so thankful.

Gym dates are horrific because zero conversation is had. It's the LVMs dream, because he will never have to have a sit down, actual conversation about who he really is.

I think that if you have the opportunity to and want to be a SAHM, then it's such a beneficial option for the kids. Some kids are ok with daycare, others find it too much, so it's good to have the option if the kid doesn't adjust to daycare. Also it's soo important to have a flexible and open schedule for sick days or mental health days! These guy obviously cannot conceptualize that children are complex human beings and only want a mommy bangmaid...disgusting.

Girl I needed this. Some family is visiting and my creepy uncle is being creepy. He's especially bad this time around. So far I've wittily shut him down when he was wayyy in my personal space but now im just going to avoid, grey rock and give non responses. He wants to paint me as the crazy feminist to my family and get everyone to gang up on me and feel vindicated but I'll just be avoiding and testing the waters to see if his wife is open to hearing about his awfulness...but even that is on the…

Its definitely healthy to have those feelings. I remind myself that being brainwashed to comply to men, as a child, from society is very very real, very serious, and that neural pathways set when we are children have a tendency to be very strong. I get feelings like this as well, and like to feel them and explore them because that sense of betrayal can come from several areas of my life. So these feelings can be an indication of something deeper, even (i.e., family betrayal etc). Exploring the i…

True. People with mental illness are more likely to be victims of violent crime than perpetrators. I also read a study awhile back that within the mental health system in Norway, women were much more compliant with treatment and pleasant to work with, while men regularly had outbursts that were angry and violent, to the point where they had to be referred out. Women and men participate in mental health treatment in vastly different ways, with women usually doing the actual work while men's entit…

This is true. My motivation to seek a high earner isn't to gold dig, it's to make sure that he can pay bills on time, is good with money and spending, and can provide a safety net if need be. My motivation for dating a mentally well man is because then I don't have to be a therapist or beg for someone to have empathy for me. My motivation for dating an attractive man is because I want to feel good and I want to know that he has healthy habits. Men have VASTLY different and more nefarious motivat…

My last two long term relationships I met them at work, and decided to date them after either I was leaving or he was leaving. That was enough to inform me that sleeping with a coworker would hurt me professionally! While I was slightly smart on the second one and refused to date him while we worked together, he was unfortunately persistent and I caved when I was vulnerable :( That's another thing to look out for, men at work who are persistent, calculated, and will try and downplay their moves …

Yeah, we are significantly better at picking up qualitative information. While we are looking for things like compatibility or empathy in a man, they have a hard time perceiving these detailed calculations so they resort to numbers like women are a type of thermometer.

Oof seeing this dude demand unconditional love is making me cringe so hard at all the conditioning I've experienced...unconditional love is such a bullshit concept that I've only gotten hurt from. I'm gonna be conditional for the rest of my life❤ flowers don't bloom in poor soil, and neither do I. A man should be CREATING the conditions for love.

Its truly incredible watching kids become upset when you ask them to get away from the screen...im all for learning technology but kids' brains are especially susceptible to the addictive design of video games. It's so hard to strike a balance as a parent, so im glad the Chinese govt is providing some structure. I wonder how limiting screen time works in practice?

I cringe at the times I've asked for tests from men, they've balked at me or gotten angry, and I just kind of conceded by insisting on condoms. I did a deep dive on STIs for a bit and condoms can only do so much. I'm SO thankful that I'm repulsed by men, I've always wanted to live until the end of my life without an STI. I just got a full blood panel test a few months ago and im clean, and I'll fight tooth and nail to stay that way.
