It’s more than okay to have standards. Men are never, and will never be, entitled to sex or relationships. They can live without them. They won’t keel over and rot from lack of sex. Believe it or not, but there are other things in life one can enjoy 🙏

I was 20 when I finally “got over” my first ex-boyfriend. We broke up when I was 17, but up until then I had continued to make excuses for his behavior and insist on seeing the best in him. While that was admirable on my part (boy was I excellent at mental gymnastics), I realized that I was trying to prove my innate goodness or something along those bullshit lines. I got really angry with myself for wasting all that mental energy on him after the fact. Keep in mind that this was a boy who didn’t…

I have a lot of mixed feelings about this episode to be honest. First off, welcome Elle! I think she melded very nicely with our hosts and had some great one-liners that oozed the FDS spirit. With that, I’m still a bit confused on where she stands on the political spectrum. I find it amazing that we have a conservative co-host who has such a rich background but the way she talked about her values and beliefs felt a bit wishy-washy. I know it’s impossible to please everyone but clarity would help…

Guys who say stuff like that are either fishing for praise or prepping you for the “I warned you!” when you call them out in the future. Side note: Has anyone else ever known men who claim that they are “an asshole to everyone” as though being a terrible person to everyone makes it a-okay? Just…ugh…

Some of these posts that I’ve seen pop up in the general Reddit discussion seem to be targeting core FDS principles by putting them under a negative light. They’re told from the viewpoint of a somewhat concerned man who’s “not all that bad but still seeking validation from other LVM” I used to sympathize with these kinds of post too….so embarrassing. Very few of these posts are people asking genuinely innocent questions; most of them are calculated, trying to enforce the normalization of female …

I remember reading about this for the first time! Sally Ride’s response was hilarious, the deadpan, “No, that would not be the right number.” 😆😆😆 It’s strange how men will actively avoid learning about the female body just because it makes them “uncomfortable.” Being educated and mature about it is a sexy trait 💪😊 Sexy, but also the bare minimum…

Great episode!!! I’m a little sad that there was no “die mad” at the end though! I missed that tidbit 😁

Ladies, be super careful about the content you consume: books, music, movies, literally anything that crosses your path. Whether you’re aware of it or not, bad behaviors and low standards have an effect on your brain, even if you are an avid FDSer. I had to stop watching most movies with any type of violence (bloody or not) because I realized how it desensitized me to something undeniably terrible. Horror, disgust, and discomfort are all natural responses to inappropriate media. Don’t let yourse…

It’s sad to say but when the news broke about her disappearance I already knew how it probably went down. This isn’t a new story; we women have heard this tale a thousand times before. Some of the most insidious men out there can be the most charming and delightful people to be around. Blatant disrespect is a blessing in disguise sometimes. Keep safe and never stop vetting 🙏

It’s never about the shortness with these guys though. Their obsession with their height and women’s standards are what make them repulsive 🤢

I have the same standard for men’s gifts as I do for things my girlfriends and I would gift each other. We don’t just gift on holidays - we pick up small things that we think the other enjoy too. One of my friends does a lot of traveling for work and picks me up local honeys because she knows I have a weakness 😊🐝 Side note: I’ve also dated women in the past and they tend to be a lot more liberal and generous with small gifts. Not everything (but definitely on occasion 😉) needs to be expense jewe…

Out of sight, out of mind. Don’t let them steal any of your precious time, even when you aren’t talking to them 👑

It’s so so so important to be financially independent so you don’t get stuck in a situation where you have to rely on a terrible person just to survive. Remember he benefits from your staying, even if he is drip-feeding money to pay for you to stay. Once I managed to live on my own for the first time, without financial support from parents, a partner, etc., I started to value my life a lot more! There’s nothing in the world I’d abhor more than a man paying the bare minimum only to disrespect our…

“Do you live by yourself?” is such a predatory question… It’s exactly the same as asking “How easy of a target are you?” I really want to own a house by myself someday but I’m also apprehensive about men discovering that I do 😬

I was going to comment that! No sane person actually says that, especially to strangers

I feel the same way!!! The hosts are so articulate and eloquent when explaining FDS principles. I always come away feeling inspired and motivated, and not just in the dating field! The weekly schedule is a steady stream of refreshment from the scrote patriarchy 🙏
