31	Communicating after a first date: am I being a pickme? I frequently have the knee-jerk urge to do the same; superficially, it seems like standard politeness, doesn’t it? But I refrain unless they start up the text conversation themselves after the outing. I do usually make a point to thank them for the evening/dinner at the end of the outing before parting ways, which I think is enough to satisfy social etiquette. 19	OLD - is it LV behavior when men ask this? What’s your experience/opinions on it? Yes, that’s exactly what it feels like! It’s never just a single question; if you “indulge their curiosity” by answering the 1st q, it always turns into an entire interrogation about your childhood and immigration & family circumstances that really comes off in this creepy way as though you’re being viewed like an exotic zoo animal.
