that’s also my point, both sides will just continue to generalize each other because we can’t agree on anything long enough to get to know each other. I’m not saying I don’t do it, I’m guilty of it myself. But everyone else is too.

The issue is tribalism. That’s why the two groups can’t get along. Feminists feel the same about us, they think we’re misogynistic scumbags who want to rape and murder women at any given opportunity. Again, they make this based off a few bad apples that fuck up everything, then they bunch us up with the Incels and anyone other man they disagree with. This creates a further divide between the two groups and creates hostility in both sides. Due to feeling disrespected and disregarded as serious gu…

No clue why you’re being downvoted, tribalism is a definite problem. We’re better than them, we gotta prove that even more so because people hate us so much.

Sometimes it’s good. Other times it’s just feminists trying to push their POV onto men’s issues and partially or fully blame the rests of us for it. That’s how I perceive it. It has it’s bad apples, just like we do.

Or just stop doing things that bring an even further bad rep to us, how is that censorship if it’s for the greater good and betterment of this sub?

Fair enough. Tribalism is a big problem in movements, I just don’t think ya and feminists will really see eye to eye. They’ve drifted too far.

Dude, you never said I had to specify anything. I just gave you what I thought.

The most common form of FGM isn’t even cutting off the tip of the clitoris itself. It’s the hood I believe, which has the same nerve density as the foreskin removed from a newborn baby boy. While I do think there are some forms of FGM that are undeniably worse than MGM, I think the most common of FGM is no worse than the most common form of MGM. They’re both fucking horrible.

I’m fine with them, so long as they aren’t the stereotypical ones that like to shove their sexuality down your throat. Like, I’m fine with you, I don’t care if you’re gay, pansexual, trans or whatever but just be a respectable and respectful person like the rest of us are expected to me. Being “different” doesn’t give anyone an excuse to force their ideals on someone else. If they’re like anyone else I’m friends with, then I don’t care if they’re from the fucking moon.

How is this racist, my friend? We are the fairer of the movements, we can’t become the people we so definitely oppose.

I meant like the “take care of your family at all times, no matter what” “be manly and always support those around you in any circumstance” and “be willing to die for the people around you” and things that are great in retrospect but shouldn’t define someone entirely. What should define someone is what THEY want to be defined by. Not what other people want. That’s how I feel you become a man. But again, I can’t say that other guys aren’t manly simply because they don’t live up to what I said, it…

They’re true to themselves, no matter what. They live their lives with intention. I think the nobility stuff is great and all, but nobody can really say whether someone is a man or not if they’re not them. You form to your own definition of a man and not someone else’s. Don’t live for the expectations of others.

Notice how we never removed your post.. if I posted a counter argument in r/feminism I’d be either downvoted into a nonexistent void or just banned. hmmmmmm.........

Jesus, I get we don’t like the ones who consistently treat us unfairly. We have that right, but I suggest approaching it better before we all get called Incels, we already get a bad rep for simply wanting equal treatment, let’s not worsen it by people taking things out of context or in the wrong way.

Alright, man cmon. We can’t sit here and bash them and then wonder why the hell they throw so much shit at us. That’s hypocritical and we become hypocrites, we’re no better than the women who diminish what we’re fighting for.

To see demographics... it’s a genuine question and I don’t think it’s with bad intentions.

True, I interpreted it as saying, “Not all men are bad, there’s bad women and bad men. Don’t group everyone into a small group just because you don’t like the minority. People who are bad are not exclusive to one gender, they’re exclusive to themselves.”

In all honesty, and I am in no way promoting this, but I wouldn’t do it. Or I’d write a counter argument to it but provide sources, MLA format, and everything required. I’d write counterpoints to the argument made in a well documented manner to where it isn’t seen as an emotional piece but a sophisticated retort to her original assignment. If she somehow fails you for that, i suggest talking to someone higher. She’s forcing you to write a piece you don’t agree nor feel right about, it’s the equi…

Talking about men, he’s saying our suicides rates are high as hell, people hate us for being men, but we have done some of the greatest things in human history and continue to do so.

Actually, when you put prison rape into the mix, men and women get raped practically the same amount.

Not a great idea, however, I think the system revolving around divorce, prenups, custody, and things in the aftermath definitely need to be revised. They’re extremely biased towards women in almost every circumstance.
