| 7 | The truth about false rape accusationWell if the McDowell (1985) study could be traced then maybe it could be refuted. Forensic Science Digest doesn't even exist and the only thing closest to it, The Forensic Digest has no trace of the study ever being published in it. You can only find McDowell 1985 citied in secondary sources, mostly coming from a book by McDowell in 1987. | /r/MensRights | 08/01/13 04:58 PM |
| 2 | Saw this on r/gaybros. Thought you guys would appreciate. The stories and information posted here are artistic works of fiction and falsehood. Only a fool would take anything posted here as fact. | /r/MensRights | 05/01/13 11:10 PM |
| 7 | Shhhhh don't tell the feminist media or politicians, but 40%+ of 'trafficked victims are men', says people who work directly. As opposed to the perceived 71% by UK adults. | /r/MensRights | 26/04/12 02:38 PM |
| – | According to the UK Gov Site, only men are rapists. It doesn't say that only women can be the victims. Rape is when a man forces his penis into the vagina, anus or mouth of another person without consent Any other penetration (other than a penis) gets classed as, "Assault by penetration", which was added in 2003. Both carry up to life imprisonment. | /r/MensRights | 22/03/12 09:09 AM |
| 3 | I have a very independent and strong mother, but she has the most interesting view on women's rights and feminists, and male rights for that matter. So basically your argument boils down to, "because my mommy said so" onceagainmyfriends DESTROYED you! Too bad this comment thread will be lost halfway down the page. | /r/MensRights | 21/03/12 07:45 PM |
| – | Mark Byron FREE! "Judge Seive decided that violating my civil rights for 26 days was enough to purge the order!"He had 4 days left on his public apology order, of course he wouldn't get sent to 60 days jail time. I wouldn't send this wife beating tool to jail so then he can act as a martyr for "free speech". Good decision by the judge. Thoughts for Mrs. Byron who is being framed as a villain throughout. She never withheld visitation to her son, Mark spoke pure lies. She has had enough torment, now this can all go away from the media spotlight. | /r/MensRights | 19/03/12 08:28 PM |
| – | Women of NASAbut I really don't see too many male role models for boys in STEM either. Are you for real? The list is almost endless. Plus, I am not sure where you have seen boys being vilified for liking science, maybe throughout high-school? There you can say girls are also shamed for liking science and not cheerleading. A least on reddit you are vilified for not liking science and there is a total elitist nature to anything not STEM. | /r/MensRights | 18/03/12 10:52 AM |
| 6 | Thanks for making me out to be a pervert.Sounds like you were being very petty and petulant to make a point as deep as a puddle. You seem proud of your 'point' so that is all the matters. Personally I would have tried to rise above it and put it down to a misunderstanding. You are making a huge assumption if she thought you were a sex offender. That same night she tried to strike up conversation and apologise for being rude. You were being a dick and I think you know that too but you hadn't time to cool off, so you reacted. She might h… | /r/MensRights | 16/03/12 10:39 AM |

| – | [followup] Man called police after finding pornographic images on his laptop after trying to download music. Social services banned him from having unsupervised access to his child while police investigated... Ban was finally liftedSo your brother was being harassed and then he assaulted someone...? You know being asked why or what you were doing in a area at the time of a crime is routine? | /r/MensRights | 15/03/12 08:59 PM |
| – | A feminist definition of abuse backfiresNice to see OP address this point. Its logical fallacy 101 in here. | /r/MensRights | 15/03/12 12:43 PM |

| 2 | 16 year old gets 20 years for molesting young cousins. Cousins later recanted their story.Well If you want to know. There was a clinical doctors report showing signs of vaginal penetration. A lot of the blame goes to M. Arenas trial representation who chose not to rebuttal any of the states experts. When you have an 8 year old girl say you did it, a clinical report showing abuse, a 'test' showing you're a paedophile and your brother confessing to said abuse. Things don't go so well when your attorney doesn't question the validity of anything. All these things were later seen as very … | /r/MensRights | 03/03/12 10:47 AM |
| – | 16 year old gets 20 years for molesting young cousins. Cousins later recanted their story. You'd be terrible on a jury. "People lie sometimes therefore... let this man free!". Just because the victim recanted after trial doesn't make the sentence poof into thin air. Courts don't work that way. He has appealed 3 times and failed every time. Didn't help that his brother signed a confession 3 days before trial 12 years ago. Arena had shitty representation but that is a different matter. He has a lot of pride to maintain his innocence after all this time but he would be well into his paro… | /r/MensRights | 02/03/12 10:07 PM |
| – | 16 year old gets 20 years for molesting young cousins. Cousins later recanted their story.I'm not sure where you are coming from. Yes, people lie but there was other evidence, other than the victims testimony. | /r/MensRights | 02/03/12 09:28 PM |
| – | 16 year old gets 20 years for molesting young cousins. Cousins later recanted their story. The recantation isn't credible because it was determined she recanted under pressure. That has nothing to do with her testimony in the court. People recant all the time. | /r/MensRights | 02/03/12 07:06 PM |
| 0 | 16 year old gets 20 years for molesting young cousins. Cousins later recanted their story.Sorry I mis-stated, you're right. He has to prove the expert testimony did influence the sentence. He also has to prove that the recantations are valid. He failed to 3 times so far over 11 years (I think). A 4th appeal was in January this year. The false expert testimony was only used to determine the length of the sentence. He was found guilty before that. | /r/MensRights | 02/03/12 07:02 PM |
| – | 16 year old gets 20 years for molesting young cousins. Cousins later recanted their story.John Arena made 3 confessions. Michael Arena maintains his innocence, hence no parole. The recantation of the girl is not credible and her testimony that John and Michael sexually assaulted her and her brother still stand. The test was junk science but it can't be proven beyond doubt that it influenced his 20 year sentence as the jury claimed it did not, in the review of the initial trial. Michael Arena can't satisfy his burden of proof for release or re-trial. I think that is the gist of it, yo… | /r/MensRights | 02/03/12 01:15 PM |
