The number of times I've simply been a genuine, good friend with empathy and actual active listening skills and I end up getting laid when they have a bad breakup supports this post

I call out the elephant in the room. Immediately, then ignore it. "Wow, eye contact is gonna be hard with you", then keep that eye contact and no mentioning them again. I suppose you still have to keep your cool after, but I find that easier if the topic has already been blown out into the open.

I've been in a couple situations where this wasn't the case. The woman was the one who had been pursuing me all night, and her friend had big problems with it when I reciprocated. Sometimes the friend is the ugly one and she's just super bitter.

Honestly, whatever really. Just like with my regular friends. If we cant have easy conversation after the initial awkwardness, I won't be inclined to pursue. Ease of communication is very important to me.

The hair was the conduit for the lack of fucks, lol. Have to give people something to make them give you something back to not give a fuck about!

When I was in high school, I had a phase where I did... regrettable things to my hair. It didn't look good. But that's what I wanted and nobody could tell me otherwise. Fast forward a year, I end up in class with the most popular girl in school. She asks me about my hair and seems dumbfounded at my lack of fucks, after that she fucking loved me. I'm not humble bragging, that's actually probably my biggest high school "dropped a very hard to drop ball" story as nothing came of it. My point is, ba…

Ever try awareness meditation? It's not the solution, but the solution is similar. In meditation, you note thoughts as they pass and consider them from the outside, but do not let them in. Eventually you hit a point where thoughts slide silently by and you form a quiet center. Treat the judgement and opinion of others the same way as these thoughts. They exist, they pass by, you see them and consider (if you don't consider others on this you just become an asshole), but as the cliche says, be as…

The absolute RAGE that you're gonna get from some women. It's totally fair though, she can deny what she doesn't want and so can you.

I refuse to think that someone in their mid to late 20s was fucked up that bad by the pandemic. The social skills needed are generally there by the late teens/early 20s where they would have been. It's straight up that generation's culture. Now the even younger crowd was still developing and I dont even WANT to know how fucked up they will be as adults. They literally just don't give a shit, in ways that they should.
/r/seduction09/05/26 12:09 PM

It's a basic social skill, but most younger people here have stunted social skills. It partially depends on your age range.

My point is not that you can't spot it. My point is that in a general sense I am totally exhausted with people who are likely bad writers labeling something as "AI" because they see one or two things that they don't think real writers use. Also, some people really just have a writing style which more closely resembles what the LLM mimicry spits out. The machines were trained on and pull from actual, mostly internet-based writing. The people who wrote those things are still around and still writi…

God-tier tactics, lesser men can't comprehend but women choose up so by stealing their target you've placed yourself at the top of the hierarchy and are the hottest pick in the room now
/r/seduction30/04/26 04:37 AM

Which is kind of my point. People see things in human writing that AI has copied due to their prevalence, then start labeling those things as AI when humans continue using them. It just annoys me that even mildly competent writing is so often hit with "that's AI" because most Americans are illiterate. They think decent prose has to be machine-made because they dont live in a world containing that basic ability.

And it makes people cringe.
/r/seduction28/04/26 05:24 PM

Why does a LLM write the way it writes? Because it was trained on the writing of actual humans. If these things weren't prevalent in writing prior to LLMs then they wouldn't have been so heavily incorporated.

That's been a part of writing since the beginning of writing.

Women love cringe. I tell crow jokes where the punchline is a kindergarten level pun or even just "finish the sentence" with a crow caw voice. "What's a crows favorite season? Crow voice Fall! It's incredibly cringe. My male friends get angry at me for those jokes. Women? They eat it up. I don't get it, but... it is what it is.

The lines themselves aren't the important part of this. They're just examples for the sake of relating the tactic.

If you have the presence for it, and pick your target well, you can also just go "hey, you. You're my pool partner now". It won't work for everyone but if you can hold a room for more than a minute you should be able to make it work.

Dude has been posting for 15 years, they probably trained the AI on shit he wrote. Sensible formatting, grammar, and spelling were commonplace once upon a time. A lot of what people flag as AI is just halfway decently written material in a society that seems to shun the rules of the English language. "Oh no, bullet points, those were invented by robots and humans never use them" 🙄

Well, when you ask women, they tell you what works on them personally as if women were a monolith that all think like whoever you're speaking to. I've also been given misleading or purposefully bad advice from women who turned out to argue in bad faith. So maybe get your house in order before telling us to clean up. One woman's "barely trying hard enough" is another woman's "trying way too hard"

I go one further and slide the hand slowly towards the throat, it's clear what is going on, the eye contact does the rest. You can ask without asking and she'll get it. It's also easy to signal a "no" without breaking the moment since there isn't any surprise going on.

Okay then where would YOU suggest a man approach? If you don't have any better ideas, or some other actual helpful contribution to the subreddit, then you're literally in the wrong place.

It figures you'd get downvotes for extolling empathetic behavior in a subreddit full of guys asking "how do I manipulate women into bed". Sad.

So, I see women go for what I call "7-11 guys" (because they look like they hang out at that store smoking and playing scratch-offs all day) a LOT. Asked a friend one time when we were spilling drunken truths and she said those guys talk themselves up so much, it makes women curious what they really have going on. So, they go find out. She also has about 120 million hoe points though, so take that revelation as you will.

HAH. If there is one thing I can count on it is the slow but steady flow of women leaving Dark Triad men and falling right into my lap. Apparently I'm a good listener, and that does it for them after years of shit treatment.

If you're confident in your frame and comfortable with yourself, the witty banter should be easy to just let flow naturally. Flirty? Read that room, again this should flow naturally if the situation calls for it. The big thing, as it always has been, it to just... not care too much.

I didn't lose my card til I was 22. In hindsight, it was sort of worth it because I spent that entire time learning to become a better lover. When I did finally become active I was blowing fucking minds as your average young dude is honestly bad at sex. Getting laid doesn't make you more or less a man. It's nice, it's great it's fucking AWESOME but time without is just time to get yourself better situated to turn the next girl into someone that spreads the word about your work.

Based on what she said, though, there is a lot more going on with these women than just basics. It sounds like these guys are either aiming too far up, like so many guys do, or (and this didn't occur to me at the time but does now) it is possible that they want HER, not her friends, and that's the real rub. There are a whole lot of hopeless guys out there that aren't even trying to learn how to draw women in and think they are going to score a top-tier woman in terms of looks just by... idk, exi…

This is where I probably heavily diverge from the norm but... God, I can't stand those women. "Average" hasn't a damn thing to do with how you loom after god knows how much money trying to fake being prettier. Just be happy being yourself without a paint job and aftermarket accessories. Yes, I know the comparison to a flashy car is rude but I don't at all like this sort of materialistic, appearance-based lifestyle and it feels the same to me. "Look how great all this shit I bought is". Ugh, go g…

Aim for socioeconomic parity. Many men are put off by "higher status" women for different reasons. It's safer to aim down instead of up, as well, but not too far down. Too far down and you're risking insult because it implies he doesn't have chances with better. I don't necessarily agree with all these "guy views", they're not at all universal. They're prevalent enough though to keep around as very general guidelines.

Anyone who is using the phrase "looksmaxxing" in 2025 is probably not going to have a good time. Dead giveaway that they're probably not cultivating the all-important personality you need.

This reminds me of my friend who told me it would never ever happen between us, not a chance in hell. Well, she was married at the time but a couple years and a divorce later she's saying "I always figured we'd bang, 'just to see', you know"
