What kind of damage? That kind that needs psych. counseling, or the kind that needs medical care? Male reports of domestic violence (even in the case of physical violence, like slapping or hitting) are even lower due to both the stigma and lack of equity between the two. Women can physically and verbally abuse men without the need for immediate care, so much more goes unreported. On the other hand, men are much more "heavy-handed" when they resort to violence. This leads to more hospitalizations…

Youre partially right, but mostly wrong. Men are more likely to kill their partner, but women are MUCH MORE likely to be the perpetrator in cases of domestic violence. Another example is suicide. Women are much more likely to attempt suicide, while men are more likely to succeed at killing themselves.

I disagree. There's alot of guys out there working towards improving themselves to accomplish a mission or goal they've set. Also to be the best possible candidate for helping others improve themselves. I wouldnt say a majority, but a sizable minority of men at least have more than eat-sleep-fuck-(insert average hobby) on their mind.

A good thing to do is follow up a compliment with a joke/playful insult. For example "Y'know, you're really cute in that dress/shirt. But I think you're a little short to be my type." Something that builds tension like OP mentioned, followed up with something that gets her to laugh. This is a great way to see if they can take a joke at their own expense, while also showing that you're confident enough that you dont need to feed them compliments. Its the hot/cold approach essentially.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
