As a political body, how much influence does the UN really have? When you're very young, you'd think an organization named the "United Nations" is the organization to end all organizations with the highest amount of political influence (just recently you get Secretary General Lex Luthor from Young Justice Season 3). I meant know when and where to put forth the message and make the sacrifice. The fact that these prominent figures had their efforts shattered in an instant tells us that any attempts now in our state will be in vain. Not to mention that this is a tiny community with no influence whatsoever (and people are trying), meanwhile the systems that perpetuate these discriminations are backed up or hidden by the media (of course in a subtle manner) and feminist organizations.

No, a cause worth fighting for is a cause that is intelligently fought for. You can’t just sacrifice yourself whenever you feel like it, you’ll just shoot yourself at the foot instead. They already told you why there aren’t any demonstrations. We’re talking about revered figures in this community here, some that had institutional power. Feminism did it first, blocked the people mentioned above and cemented itself as the only ideology that needs to be followed.

A man has to work to provide for his kids, so yes, in a sense his money must go to the family. There's no must for women, but they have the choice to keep the money they earn for themselves or support their husband. Why waste your time to strictly enforce it? Not to mention that back then, less women worked than now, and as I pointed out, the gap between unmarried working US men and women was 2%. Married men were expected and tended to work more hours than usual, and there were even policies that helped working married men (although few jobs did this and they lasted for a short period). Except the market already disincentivizes these kinds of practices. If I hire women and underpay them, these capable women could just go to my competitor with a higher salary, thus I won't be able to compete.
