Actually it is a bit sad for me. People tell us we have privilege and that we should feel guilty for it. They tell us they can be racist against us, that they can discriminate us. I can just imagine hundreds of young men feeling ashamed of what they are, because everybody is telling them they're rapists and misogynists. Well, it shows he was prepared and had actual data supporting his arguments, but he wasn't unable to find someone to stand stadistical data so he had to play with the cards others allowed, which was mostly empirical data. Now, empirical data doesn't work because anyone can claim X or Y thing happened then Rape Culture is true. We need stadistics because as individuals, it is pretty much impossible to find the truth about a society.

If someone accuse you of being a rapist, while I agree something like that should put you (and the person who accuse you) into a process that requires proving such crime happened, it shouldn't affect you at all until you're proven guilty. You shouldn't have to loss your job, at least. The idea of making people aware of the false accusations is not to defend or forgive a crime, but to make people think about what we do about those who are accused about a crime it hasn't been proven yet.
