Any advice for someone who’s never felt good about the haircuts they get? I’ve tried showing pictures, going to barber shops that focus on men’s cuts, going to high end salons, and nothing looks good. I’ve got thick hair that’s straight on one side, slightly wavy on the other

The most important S is sleep, and it blows everything you listed clear out of the water

Maybe a dumb question but...is that the lower or upper end?

I get the point of "long-term it's important for more men to understand" and "it's not some mythical, magic knowledge," but I still consider it a loss. Honestly, a lot of guys don't know this stuff, and I see a majority of men who have read the sidebar still unable to properly apply it. If you are able to pick out the core teachings and throw out all the angry, hate garbage, it's a big change for your life. I like the advantage, and the less people that have it the better.

Wholeheartedly agree. I remember a few days ago someone wrote here that "what we do is hard." And while I wouldn't say they're wrong, it seemed odd to me. When you think about it objectively, it shouldn't be seen that way, yet approaching does have that social stigma of being incredibly difficult to do. I expected this post to just be repeating the title but you did a great job fleshing out the topic. It'd be great to hear more from you.

That really depends on the girl and on what her opinion of you was before this, so I can't tell you that for sure. Personally, I'd say you can't change what you did so there's no sense in dwelling on it. Don't bring it up, don't apologize for it, and don't try to overcompensate for it. That only solidifies a negative image of you in her mind because it means you agree with that image. It seems like you recognize your mistake, though, and honestly stuff like that where you're put on the spot just…

Don't take this the wrong way, because I think what you did is actually a more common response than most will admit, but I think you made a mistake with how you reacted. There was no question that he was disrespecting you and the girl you were with. Asking him what he was drinking after that is just signaling "Hey, you can do whatever you want, I'm not going to do anything to stand up to you." I don't think any girl is worth picking a fight over, but personally I believe in standing up for yours…

Actually do you have any specific advice on this? The best blow jobs I've gotten have been from girls who I would never LTR due to their history, but when it comes to girls I would consider, I have no clue how to train them. I have no issues convincing them to try it, but for sex it's easy: be more vocal, try new positions, etc. For a blowjob, I don't know what to say when they ask me how it can be better. Usually I'll say go faster/further which may help a bit, over time their gag reflex tends …

Agreed that he should be dismissive while staying aware, but I disagree with the "Am I supposed to care?" line. That'll scream "What you did bothers me but I won't admit it," which she'll link to insecurity.

Two things: abundance mentality, and separation. Delete the songs and any pictures you may have saved, you can leave them in a folder on your computer for memory's sake when you're better, but they just need to be out of your life for the time being. If you have a solid support group of guy friends, and abundance mentality from multiple high quality plates, your oneitis will be crushed.

You're buying into her frame every time you show concern about what she thinks of you, the more you do it, the worse you look. You shouldn't care what she thinks, ask yourself if you're happy with who you are, not if some girl likes who you are.

I'm not saying you don't think you can get women, I'm saying you don't think you can get women that are better than her. That's a huge difference, because belief in the former changes nothing about oneitis, but if you believed the latter, you'd be completely dismissive of her. What's your rush to settle with her? An easy flag for infatuation is that desire to become exclusive for no reason: she isn't telling you she wants to be, and if you've been casual and suddenly want to be exclusive, you're…

No, you should not overlook the classic flags. You have textbook oneitis from previously only getting low value women, and, in case you need proof, your post shows you have absolutely zero abundance mentality regarding this woman: you don't think you can get anyone better so you want to settle. Don't ignore the red flags, separate if you're just going to get all emotionally attached. This could potentially set you very far back.

Really? I haven't read much of the stuff in there, the bits that I did read were just the same old /r/relationships rubbish mixed with a fresh, modern hint of anti-trp to generate hype.

He's proposing giving ultimatums, plenty of prior discussions here on that. Generally agreed that beta guys feel the need to give ultimatums, because if you're really in control and she respects you, then you wouldn't have to.

I'll probably get flak for this, but for me it's one. I've had, and have, many girls who I've been the first for. Well, popped her cherry and she told me I was for all of them, but that's about as close to for sure as you can get. Is it fair? Of course not, but it's my personal preference, and so far it hasn't been difficult to find.

I wouldn't call it an accusation, no need to get all riled up, I'd just rather have links to original sources than to opinion sites like "redpilltimes"

Mix all if you don't know what you're doing. Sounds like you want quantity over quality in as little time as possible, so you'll have to cast a large net. Of course, understand that the catch will feature a great deal of rubbish, and it's unlikely you'll actually get satisfaction out of this. I've had the most success with number 3, they've always lasted the longest for me and are the most stable.

Honestly, any "clever" reply in this scenario will just make you look like you're trying too hard. I wouldn't reply, then if she does show, you know she's worth your time, but if it's really important to you, just say "Sure".

Touché. I agree with you that one should not use "balance" as an excuse to half-ass things: sometimes drastic measures are necessary. In my case, however, the drastic measure was not the right approach. You have to try it to see if it's right for you.

Likewise, monk mode is not for everyone. Back when I tried it, I improved my lifting and overall productivity immensely, but I was unhappy because I wasn't hanging out with my friends or meeting women. If you can do it, more power to you, but for most guys I recommend a more balanced approach.

I have to disagree here. Keep in mind that tv isn't real life, it's simply a writer's portrayal. Now, it can reflect the truth: if a low value guy just up and confesses interest, yes he's a creep. But if you're genuine high value, you're much better off not playing cat and mouse games. I was never truly successful with girls until I simply said "fuck it," and was unbelievably forward. It completely turned my life around. Don't hide it, be open, but if all there is to it is emotionally charged dr…

I don't doubt that, a better ability to cope with bad situations does not justify their existence. If he took the strength to take his own life instead of that of someone else, then good on him. I hope his children can one day realize this.

There are plenty of stories out there illustrating the same concept: a typical BP symptom is an inability to cope with extreme stressors. This may sound absurd, but one of the side effects from TRP that I didn't expect was understanding that we all have our falls. I'm sure this will get satirized so I'll explain: a key aspect of RP is stoicism, and maintaining a calm disposition encourages level-headed, objective thinking. This logical thinking encourages one to be more solution-focused, rather …

I'm glad there's now an automated system to end the useless replies. I got sick of seeing every anecdote have a million replies of "AWALT" that contribute nothing to the discussion except make the community look like a bunch of lemmings. You have no excuse to not read the sidebar, but it is not your copypasta.

Treat it like a game. If a woman genuinely believes she is oppressed, despite the true oppression in other parts of the world, that's her deal, not yours. Be amused if you want, but move on. If she just uses it as a tool to manipulate, you should feel the same. You know how the game works, you don't call her out and rant about how wrong she is, you use it to your advantage.

I wouldn't say they don't realize it until then, it's more that they can sleep around as much as they'd like, and still get the same provider type guy, so they don't feel the need to save that first time, because really, they generally have no reason to.

You are better off ignoring guys that white knight. You will only waste time trying to make a point with them. Let them enjoy their lives while you enjoy yours.

What I liked about your post was that you didn't go for the "Why haven't you settled down? We all have, why can't you?" as if it's a race. I've noticed a lot of new members are either enraged by this suggestion, and feel the need to criticize their fellow man for doing so. If you are truly confident in what you are doing, you have no need to say anything. I don't care how great you are doing: be humble.

There's a certain irony in TRP being criticized for supposedly believing, "Oh, who cares what women want?" when a central part of the theory is focused on exactly that: what women truly want. On the other hand, the feminist movement couldn't care less what its male supporters want.
