Maybe relevant: I once heard that Morgan Freeman forces out a yawn before doing voice-acting. It literally enhances the deeper voice. Though I don't have any concrete evidence backing this up.

It's not assertive, it's comfortable. That's my experience. When I'm comfortable, my voice is normal/lower than usual.

I'm gonna forget about your post before I get an answer to my question though, so can't you tell me in the meantime?

AMOTG? I can't find it in the glossary. Please elaborate.

That's quality advice. "Don't tell people they can't". I used that recently teaching a sixth grade class some math. It actually works, and I just realised it. I'm only a temp and 20yo, so it's awesome figuring out I did something right. Teaching can be tough.

Isn't that exactly what the guy you replied to said?

With the scandinavians however I don't get it, their politics are so socialist and feminism is so rampant you'd think they'd have political correctness there and less of the terse pertinence. Am danish. You're correct. But it's just a facade. All women are like that, doesn't matter which country.

Hahaha, okay old man. I'm all good for discussion, but I've read some of your comments and I don't feel like discussing anything with you. Feel free to post your opinions and move along.

You're right, and maybe wallow is the wrong word. But if you had a friend that kept being miserable without picking himself up even after he's gotten a friendly pat on the back, wouldn't you be annoyed? I didn't say anything about breaking up the friendship, but I wouldn't waste my effort on someone who doesn't want to get better. Also, I'm young and from another country. My definition of "friend" is probably a little broader than what you imagine.

The point is still not about getting sex. That's what I think is annoying about TRP sometimes; instead of saying "get respected" it's "get sex". Many of these advice on TRP doesn't only target people in relationships, but also just basic human interaction and friendship. If a friend of mine wallows, he will not recieve my respect nor my attention. Doesn't have to do with sex necessarily. edit/ I'm not saying you're wrong at all. I'm just picky about phrasing.

I agree, the text itself is crudely written, but he does have a good point that should be common knowledge.

Replying to top comment for awareness: Is it just me, or does every link in this post show an "Internal Server Error (500)"? If it's a useful post, I'd like to see the links updated.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
