As I've posted in a few areas: Every Man Jack. Independant company, and haven't found anything terrible abiut them online yet. Paired their razor with an old school brush and soap, and I use Grandpa Soap Company shampoos and soap bars. Not a single conglomerate product used.

eh, depends on the venue. I moonlight as a tech. (Mostly because there's too many of us, so i can't land a tech job to pay the bills) and I tend to listen to the band's requests for monitors (And ONLY monitors) unless they mention something i didn't think of. But then, unlike a lot of techs i know, i spend a lot of time on stage, verifying monitors and the like before the show. But i definitely don't listen to most musicians about the house mix. That's a fast way to a shit show.

in all reality, yes. There is no 100% guaranteed way to avoid pregnancy, (except a vasectomy, or a woman getting her tubes tied) but short of those two extremes, there is no foolproof way to avoid it. As such, if you don't want to have kids, and/or don't want to get fucked over by somebody being a cunt, (Like the woman in the example) then don't have sex.

That's not the right approach to it either, man. There's a proper way to go about teaching these things. The way i outlined works because it teaches you to avoid fighting whenever possible, but to not hold back when it is unavoidable, not because it teaches me how to fight anybody that fucks with me.
