Yes, my mental illness presents a challenge but after 3 years of being on medication, I am finally at the point where I feel healthy and ready to engage in something again... in what exactly, I am not sure. Yeah, I try to devote time to pursuits that help others. So, even though I am not being paid directly for my efforts, I still feel that I am giving back to society. For example, I was recently nominated as a moderator of /r/schizophrenia because my posts were so helpful to the users of that subreddit. I continue to try and help out those around me who are not as well off as me.
