Fear of not good enough is still the fear of rejection.

It's not really ridiculous at all, people suggest it all the time on here, and it helps a lot of people. I don't think it will help this person though, because they said upfront they don't drink. You use a crutch to help you walk while you can't do it yourself. The crutch helps you, and when you're ready to walk on your own you put the crutch aside.

lol that is definitely my thoughts as well. The rejections stick in my mind a lot more than missed opportunities. Not that it will stop me from trying!

Yeah I came here to say this. He says his game is honest and the first thing he said to the girl was that he wanted to meet people, but apparently in his world everybody he meets is a chode, and he seems completely uninterested in actually learning about these people he is meeting. All he does is compare himself to other people and then say he is "better" than them. I guess it's still not a bad field report on how to dominate a set and push other people out, but to me it sounds like the guy is a…

This person is just recommending this as a technique; I don't think they're saying it's the be all end all. I also think being sincere and really taking an interest is part of the technique he's recommending. I don't think it's meant to be taken as a silver bullet, but really just another smart play to add to the playbook.

Okay, but lets be honest, this subreddit does not have a kind opinion of average dudes. Their acronym is AFC, and it means average fucking frustrated chump. If you need help on basic self-improvements this subreddit can send you in the right direction, but it's not the sole purpose. I think this subreddit can be split into two parts Bringing yourself up to the standard necessary to attract women Develop skills to seduce women A lot of people asking for help fall in the first camp. The answer wil…

I think a big reason for that attitude is the "self improvement" ethos of this subreddit that you've hit on. The idea here is that if you are down or something is not working then you need to improve youself, your appearance, your conversational ability, your confidence, and anything else you can improve about yourself. I think we should definitely work on how we treat people down on their luck, but I think the message needs to be: if you're down on your luck, do something to fix it. Work positi…

Yeah, the five regrets were great, but who the fuck is the guy talking? He's not dying and as far as I can tell is just telling you how to live like everyone else.

I have been in the worst depths of depression before and I found medication completely unhelpful. I stopped taking the medication and started DOING things. It's the only thing that worked for me. The attitude of "I can't do that" is just a result of a deathly fear of failure and rejection and a lack of willpower. I don't want to diminish how horrible depression is, but I think if you can manage to bring yourself to action you can overcome it (this is of course barring other circumstances such as…

Find a special catalyst? No. You just decide to do it. It takes nothing special at all. You read about how other people are happy, you read about how they did it, and you say, I think I'll try that. Then you do it.

Not to be a douche to op, but after reading what he said, I picture him reading your post and saying, "wait I have to read and change myself to be happy? Never mind."

I believe this was in response to someone wanting to get laid within 2 weeks and had little experience with game...so this is really just a plan for that weird scenario, not for general game.

Shitty grammar? I had no idea English wasn't your first language. You write much more competently than the average American.

You know, the vast majority of people are unable to see flaws in themself, and an even smaller percentage see it and become determined to change for the better. You are doing it right.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
