My ex was shorter than me, I honestly didn’t give a fuck but their insecurities about it drove me fucking insane. Now I don’t even want to date shorter people because I don’t want to deal with that drama again.

Yeah, the shoelace guy is actually a paramedic and it really messed up his ability to be quick and you know, save lives. So that one I actually understand. He did an update and I think the wife is gonna to therapy for her OCD.

Ugh this is how the last guy was, always keeping me up even though I get up at 5am for work (partially my fault for being a pick me) Always because he was drunk too and claiming this was the last time and he’s gonna cut back on drinking. Yeah, ok. He said that about 50 times. Found this sub and blocked his punk ass.

I blocked my last guy because I realized he NEVER asked about me. He literally talked so fucking much it was honestly boring as hell. I could never even get a word in. To make things worse he would always say things like “I talk too much” “sorry for my rant” blah blah etc but he never stopped or changed it. I found this sub and realized he was a NVM and I blocked him. Best. Decision. Ever. I have so much more free time 😂

Okay, this is honestly what I tell myself and I’m glad I’m not alone on this lol it’s so oddly comforting and I find it really helps.

I’ve always been a very straight forward person, when I like someone I basically always crack and tell them because at a certain point I just can’t take it anymore. For some reason I always assumed that other people were like me, straight forward and honest. Yeah, not so much. I would tell crushes I liked them and then things would progress quickly and then fizzle our basically instantly. I was under the EXTREMELY delusional impression that if I made the move and it had a positive response that …

Same here. I just blocked someone because I SOMEHOW didn’t see their toxic bullshit before. FDS saves lives lol

I don’t know, it was really subtle and I’m still noticing and realizing things even now almost 6 months after the split. We were always best friends but everything felt like a transaction. Sex felt like a chore. Something was missing. We both never figured it out but it was always the elephant in the room. We both knew way way deep down that something was off and no matter how we tried it wasn’t fixable. We just had lost that passion we had. That burning desire that keeps you linked to someone. …

I just got out of an almost 8 year relationship in November. Sometimes it feels like a lifetime ago and sometimes it feels like it happened Yesterday. To make a long story short, they broke things off with me. We were both in denial for years. We were absolute best friends and the best of roommates but the romance had died quite literally. I don’t know when or how but it did. I wish one of us had had the courage to break it off sooner as I realize now we both were holding each other back from RE…
