Fundamentals: Do Not Move OutNo, I think your proved my point on how to live a miserable life. Good luck. | /r/Divorce_Men | 02/08/25 05:22 PM
Fundamentals: Do Not Move OutYou'd get to see your kids in a much better environment if you move out. The toxic environment you're letting your kids live in is bad. Grow up and live your life instead being so pathetic. Kids are intelligent, they see a weak person who doesn't have domain over their life. And they see the disdain between the parents. All from some bad lawyers advice. | /r/Divorce_Men | 02/08/25 05:14 PM
Fundamentals: Do Not Move OutSounds horrific to me. | /r/Divorce_Men | 02/08/25 02:36 PM
Fundamentals: Do Not Move OutI'll be empathetic and say if you're of modest means and have very low life prospects, then staying might be your option, but it's still a bad one. Of course, why people get divorced is a massive spectrum. If there are kids and it's contentious etc. things are different. If you are employed and have good life prospects, you get out asap, come to terms with a mediator asap. Emotions and vengeance are the real cause of long divorces that drag on. | 1 | Fundamentals: Do Not Move OutIt depends on your resources, but in your case you would be prolonging the process, increase pain for yourself and kids, and waste time. Plus, you would get much more favorable terms when you make it less contentious, staying only works if it's completely cordial. | /r/Divorce_Men | 20/05/25 05:41 PM
Fundamentals: Do Not Move OutIf you bought it before marrying her and she didn't contribute anything towards it, absolutely stay and get her an apartment somewhere if that's the case. But all of your advice is really bad and would lead to a miserable life. | /r/Divorce_Men | 19/05/25 10:24 PM
Fundamentals: Do Not Move OutMostly because it's coming from the wrong frame. The objective is to get out of the bad situation as quickly and peacefully as possible. The advice is also legally dubious, in general, you do want the mother of your children to have resources for them. Staying in a toxic home is horrific. You want to separate, move out and settle as soon as possible, preferably with a mediator first. Staying would put your life on hold, and create extreme negative outcomes for everyone | /r/Divorce_Men | 16/05/25 07:04 PM
Fundamentals: Do Not Move OutThis is really bad advice on most levels. | /r/Divorce_Men | 04/05/25 12:34 PM
