2	Holy shit. Acquaintance rape prevention for men/women. That's something I actually agree with. All too many women don't speak up about not wanting sex until they run crying to friends/daddy/police. Not to mention that "I felt intimidated and coerced" is the cry of the morning-after-regret case who not once voices her unwillingness before or during the act but later cries rape to avoid embarrassment or for whatever other reason. 6	So I went to see The Wolf of Wall Street (no spoilers) This reminds me: in one scene in the 1967 film "In the Heat of the Night," the script called for Sidney Poitier's Negro detective character to be slapped by a white man. Poitier insisted that he slap the man back to protect his character's dignity (source; scene in question). I don't think it's reaching or distasteful to make this comparison. 18	ABC will air a 20/20 program about Manosphere and Mens Rights groups harassing women online. Anita Sarkeesian has a starring role and will talk about the "abuse" she received from men online. I wonder if ABC will mention MRAs being attacked and abused by feminists in Toronto twice this year. Look at the snotty way the interviewer looks at Elam in the video. How staggeringly ignorant do you have to be not to understand how much men lose in marriage today? 5	Alternet suggests r/MensRights is to blame for rapes going unreported, states that censoring "hate" speech is a good thing. I'm American, and the first time I realized how outrageous it is over there was when I saw this story. TL;DR: A Welsh soccer player was arrested for tweeting that the UK's losing Olympic male divers "can go bum each other." Essentially, his calling two men gay was viewed as hate speech about a protected group (homosexuals). I'm fairly liberal, but there's still a lot to dislike about the American Left.
