1	Is it weird to go out to dinner on a first date in the US? Dinner is a terrible first date. It can get very expensive, you’re locked into an hour plus experience that may end up being very uncomfortable for both parties, and sitting across from each other and attempting to talk and eat while staring at each other is just bad. The logistics of sitting across from each other gives you zero chance for kino or escalation. And add in the subtle subconscious of me vs you that being across from each other brings.
