Sorry to hear what’s happened/is happening to that person. Heavily agree with the point on religious women being able to turn out just as psycho as anyone else. Once the marriage is done, a woman knows she can act differently and still be with you. No one wants to go through a divorce so sadly many men put up with post-marriage wives who aren’t like the girlfriends they were before marriage
/r/MensRights01/08/22 03:57 PM
2

That’s a great point, I’m Greek Orthodox and I’m sure my religion wouldn’t want anything to do with the state, although I’d have to check. The problem is avoiding common law marriage if you just get married in a church, because the state may still be like “oh they got married in a church we’re gonna recognize them as legally married”
/r/MensRights01/08/22 03:55 PM

I read that one too haha. They ended up suing the hospital or something for accidentally switching babies at birth, or at least they were “pursuing legal options”

Men, even if you’re 100% certain your wife didn’t cheat and you have a great relationship, please get a paternity test. I personally think they should be mandated by law bc of the number of men that have to take care of kids they probably think are theirs, but in reality aren’t.

I'm Greek Orthodox and spent a lot of time in Sunday school when I was a kid learning about Mt. Athos These men live secluded from the outside world reciting the Jesus prayer under the breaths non-stop all day and maintain their land, that's all. They hold services like vespers and orthros multiple times a day and when they're not doing that, they're trimming plants, gardening, cleaning, etc. They're the most non-hostile people on the planet. Why would you care to disturb them? Also a cool fact …

Good start, just make sure when you eat a lot of calories it's not shit like junk food. I'm turning 20 soon and played water polo all throughout high school. I was eating 4000-4500 calories a day but was always in amazing shape because of swimming in the fall/water polo in the spring and workouts in between. Once covid hit I kept the diet without the physical activity and I ballooned 30 lbs, not in the good way but in an entirely fat bulk. Luckily I'm almost back to where I was but the key to bu…

Look at how the guys on this sub lift each other up. Thanks for helping others out bro, and you're absolutely right about working out leading to a happy life. His first mistake is saying "when I tell her about all the money I made". Never let your spouse know even half the money you have, especially if you've earned it independently like this guy and it's not the money from your salary.

Very inspirational dude, the hardest part about self improvement is recognizing you need to improve in the first place. You're on the right path bro. 19 yo here and my freshman year of college's been fucked so far but I'm only looking on the bright side for now. Trying to do as many in-person activities as possible, try and find anything near you that's open or go work out at a local gym (that's a big one)

I suspect a lot of guys feel this way bc of the quarantine. It's made people lonely and so they dream of having a woman with them to keep them company. I would wait till life goes back to normal, and as you gradually have more and more things to do, you'll realize you don't need someone right next to you 24/7.

All I would say is to be careful about run-ins with the law. They're trying to shove women into leadership positions they don't deserve just because they have two XX chromosomes. Affirmative action violations can be a bitch

exactly, when you tell men traditionally masculine things are toxic and try to tell them dresses are manly, we don't respond well because our brains literally aren't capable of abandoning our male ways of thinking, acting, emotions, etc. This is why those who suffer from gender dysphoria have a near 40% suicide rate, and why many of them change back to whatever gender they started as. This is the entire idea behind "gender is a social construct". They're trying to shift the conversation away fro…

Something interesting Notice how she says "I thought the perfect world would be where every man is a woman in a man's body". And how she ends it with "now I like being a woman, I think it's a privilege". You NEVER hear of men say "all women should be men in a women's body", that would be an awful world. What's funny is he says we need to "shut the fuck up" about not dating people. Yeah....that's why we have our own group on Reddit and don't go preaching on other subreddits and campaigning to have people join r/MGTOW. The entire point of MGTOW is that you stumble across it by yourself at a low point (for most people) because you're searching for some sort of remedy from a breakup or a bad relationship. So it's fine when wives don't pay back their husbands (which the situation she described where she makes more and contributes more to bills has been true for husbands for 99% of history) but the moment a woman outearns her husband (nothing wrong with that) it's suddenly a zero sum game? Welfare babies are such a terrible concept because not only do the undeserving parents get benefits, the kids grow up with a mom and dad who do jack shit for them and don't raise them well. Which leads to more welfare babies, more crime, crowded adoption centers, etc.

The middle paragraph really resonated with me. I just graduated high school and came from an extremely competitive school being forced to do the activities/extracurriculars of my parents' choosing entirely. I've also spent the last 4 years trying to be a people pleaser. It's funny how obvious it is to us but everyone else sees them as the couple of true love that fled from the controlling Brits to live out their lives. It literally reads like a fairytale to the general public: prince and regular woman fall in love but royals don't approve of the marriage, so they move to another country and live happily ever after. The point about the principals is a good one. I'm a senior in high school and I've gone to the nicest schools in my state and I would give anything to have gone somewhere else. The schools cater to girls' being able to sit quietly and submissively and nothing is done to support boys' biological tendency to want to create, learn through activity, etc. And then everyone wonders why women do so much better in school and men do so much better in the workforce, where they can go out in the world and …

Sexually assaulted at a party some years ago. A producer apparently grabbed his dick or something and Terry left after that. It's pretty strange that Terry has the views on rape culture that he has given that he was mocked in the media for even saying it happened. "Since he's a strong man he can't be sexually assaulted so it obviously didn't happen" is what it amounted to. Look up the Wendy Williams segment on it if you're bored, pretty disgusting stuff to watch.

I think r/MGTOW is where a lot of guys go who’ve been cheated on/experienced something bad with female nature and vent to express their feelings Once they cool down I guess they come here which is more about men improving themselves and less memes about women. I’m not saying r/MGTOW is bad, I just think it’s necessary when a guy’s just gone through some heavy shit relating to females and he’s angry/disappointed.

I agree that marriage is executed poorly, but at least for me, it is a bad concept. Being 18 (new MGTOW), I'm extremely intrigued with what this whole situation is going to transpire into in the future. There's literally going to be a point where men are seen as subsidiaries to women (they are now, but I'm talking mainstream). What sort of uprise will there be? Meanwhile men have our looks, and just that. Just our natural faces that can look even better as we mature and become hardened and strengthened. Women have thousands of dollars of make-up spent with their boyfriend's/husband's money. I can't imagine covering my entire face in something and being able to actually face society and not feel like a lying piece of shit. I don't know, that's just me. It seems weird

Yeah, that's what I was thinking. Lol, it was a bunch of people I had never heard of. Typical Google bullshit

What was I supposed to see? Just curious because I didn't get it at first. I did see some black men and women who no one has heard of before Jonas Salk, Eli Whitney, Thomas Jefferson, etc though, if that's what you were talking about.

I watched an hour long interview the father did, and it was disgusting hearing about the actions of the mom. And in TEXAS of all places they voted 11-12 to remove the father from custody. #SaveJames

Exactly. How can a boyfriend be okay with his girlfriend having multiple photos of her almost nude for everyone to see? And then when I tell people this they say it's just being "controlling" and "her body, her choice" lol

Agreed. It depends on the situation of OP's friend, whether he was cheated on, rejected, feels angry, sad, etc. The best thing would probably be for him to be by himself for a while (if he was in a relationship) and realize that he has more time, more money, and doesn't have to be constantly pleasing someone who isn't giving him much in return. That's what did it for me, was realizing that on my own I had a lot of freedom that I didn't have beforehand. Good luck OP, let us know how it goes with …

If he's upset about a girl, then this probably isn't the best place for him. It will seem too extreme or however you want to say it. That's how I saw it at least, I'm 18 and only a new member but it does take a good second to become used to the ideas and mentalities behind this sub. That's the good thing though, is it's transformative. I would maybe wait it out and see how he feels

Lmao I'm a Blues fan living in Chicago, it can be tough sometimes but hey we won last year so I can't complain. I agree though, they sit there and pick out the hottest guys while you're sitting right next to them and then expect nothing to happen? 🤷‍♂️

I posted this in reply to another comment, but the same goes for you OP. "If you want information about the point of it all, I would recommend watching some videos by Jordan Peterson, and reading his book 12 Rules for Life. Just look up on YouTube his perspective of the meaning of life and he has plenty to watch. Stay strong brother"

I didn't know some of those numbers, that's very interesting to hear. Thanks sir, I appreciate it! I don't doubt that I'd be able to father, I'm considered by my friends the "dad" of the group (my last name has been turned into a play on words with "dad" for the last 4 years lol). Like I said, it's a matter of time that I have to be able to parent, and whether I lose some of my hobbies because of that. I will continue to wait it out and see, and the foster care advice you gave really helps. Than…

Does that have to do with sexual assault policy and things like that? (I'm obviously not going to ever do that but in the U.S. men have no rights in college courts)

Haha, I live in Illinois in the U.S.! I visited there a year ago and snagged that picture right off the back camera, no editing or anything. I do plan on going to school in Toronto though so we'll see! (High school senior)

Babyjeezus, that was some very, very knowledgeable truth you just laid down! I appreciate the throughness of your answers, especially since this is my sort of "entrance" into the MGTOW group and I'm still learning. I agree with what you have to say, I'm pretty much outside of the norm for where I live in terms of my views now on relationships and men vs. women (I'm middle class living in one of the nicest areas in U.S. because it has low taxes, I'm getting the hell out of here when I'm out of co…

In fact, there's a section in the Quran that talks about a strategy they are supposed to use that involves going to other countries, "pretending" to assimilate, infiltrating their politics, and destroying the country from within while playing the minority and victim cards. Very strange stuff

Very true sir, I won't grandstand and say I've been through any life-changing experiences and know my way around everything. Hopefully in college and beyond I'll pick up wisdom though, and MGTOW seems like a fantastic place to have started

I agree! I have a decent number of Muslim friends and although they aren't going to be blowing up a public building any time soon, they never outright denounce the radical forms of Islam like Sharia law or something like that.

Are you kidding me?!? That's what I hate about Reddit sometimes. It hails itself as this beacon of "There's a community for everything, free speech..." etc. Yet there are only a few subs like MGTOW that don't ban anything out of the narrative.

Exactly. Jordan Peterson has an awesome lecture on the War on Boys in regards to dating, and how young men are terrified of engaging in a relationship. The MeToo era has destroyed any chances of a real man wanting to be with a woman. "He has to be at least 6'1", rich, fit, has a career, caring, gets me food..." etc. Good luck getting these kind of men with your batsh*t crazy antics and personalities. I (18, then 17) was in a relationship last year with a girl (18, then 17) for a couple months. S…
