Bad fathersRight‽ It was weird. He’s a son from the previous marriage of my step-mother. 10 years younger than my mother, 15 years older than me. | /r/MGTOW | 30/03/21 03:52 AM
Bad fathersMy father was good. Could’ve been great if I’d seen him more than 4 hours one weekend, 24 hours the next. But my mom “wasn’t happy,” so it was single mom/boyfriends/step-fathers instead. Messed me up, especially since my last step-father was already my step-brother! LOL. | /r/MGTOW | 30/03/21 03:02 AM
I know you can't compare the two but the different reactions to both things are pretty interestingI’m not a hardcore anti-masker, but I do think that it’s more theater than it is actually impactful. ‘Maskterpiece Theatre’ is a play on words referring to the PBS series ‘Masterpiece Theatre.’ I use it derisively to imply that all these mask mandates are kind of stupid. My dad raised me with some Libertarian red pills, so I don’t take government edicts lightly. | /r/MGTOW | 31/01/21 05:14 AM
I know you can't compare the two but the different reactions to both things are pretty interestingAgreed. ‘Maskterpiece Theatre’ is blue pill living gone off the rails. I wear it in stores because it’s actually rather easy and not that big of a deal (I compare it to a seatbelt). But the number of Karens I run into on the street when I’m walking TO the store who give me shady side eye or actually verbally harass me is astounding! Bitch, if you’re that scared then stay the fuck home in your bubble. And getting IN MY UNMASKED FACE is actually less safe. No wonder so many women become schoolteac… | /r/MGTOW | 31/01/21 05:07 AM
Who of you are going through adulthood male emotional independence, including separation from women and mother? (MGTOW monk mode?)I completely stopped all communication with my mother and sister about 10 years ago when they “circled the wagons” around my ex when our marriage imploded. We were both at fault, no one was innocent. However, my ex demonized me to my family (and friends) and they believed it all. I had no chance to get emotional support from them, as they believed all of my ex’s stories and lies. Only my father and step-mother were loyal to me and told my ex to pound sand. My mother died in 2018 and we never rec… | /r/MGTOW2 | 15/01/21 06:31 AM
‘60 Days In’ reality star Nate Burrell dead at 33 from from suicideYeah, freaking heartbreaking. | /r/MensRights | 02/11/20 02:15 AM
‘60 Days In’ reality star Nate Burrell dead at 33 from from suicideSadly, another man who (rightly?) believed that death was better than an ugly, one-sided divorce and a lifetime of alimony, child support, and alienation from his child. | /r/MensRights | 02/11/20 01:19 AM
Woke up to this after sharing a piece of music that made me think of her. LOL.Hopefully she stays under her rock and leaves me alone. If not, I’ll easily ignore her and block her if necessary. Yeah, I heard that piece of music while watching a TV show recently and really loved it! | /r/MGTOW | 18/10/20 06:36 PM
Woke up to this after sharing a piece of music that made me think of her. LOL.Harsh lessons are never fun, but I’m glad that I was shown her true nature now rather than later. I think she was hiding her mental issues rather well, but the pandemic/lockdown exacerbated them and she could no longer keep it a secret that she’s nuts. | /r/MGTOW | 18/10/20 06:30 PM
Woke up to this after sharing a piece of music that made me think of her. LOL.Agreed, and that’s definitely more clear now! | /r/MGTOW | 18/10/20 04:51 AM
Woke up to this after sharing a piece of music that made me think of her. LOL.We broke up a few weeks ago, I still had the mindset of trying to reconcile and make it work. It seemed worth the effort, but sure AF not now. LOL. If there’s one way to cure feelings, it’s utter craziness like this. Never again! | /r/MGTOW | 18/10/20 04:19 AM
Woke up to this after sharing a piece of music that made me think of her. LOL.‘Spiegel im Spiegel, for Viola and Piano’ by the composer Arvo Pärt. Saddest piece of classical music, made me really miss all the good parts/times of our relationship (and her). | /r/MGTOW | 18/10/20 03:39 AM
Woke up to this after sharing a piece of music that made me think of her. LOL.Right‽ Not just rape, but different kinds and multiple levels! A “spectrum of rape,” basically. | /r/MGTOW | 18/10/20 02:57 AM
Woke up to this after sharing a piece of music that made me think of her. LOL.Oh, for sure! Radio silence from me FOREVER. I miss her dog more than her. Hahaha. | /r/MGTOW | 18/10/20 01:13 AM
Woke up to this after sharing a piece of music that made me think of her. LOL.The “Have a great day” is honestly my favorite part. | /r/MGTOW | 17/10/20 11:47 PM
Woke up to this after sharing a piece of music that made me think of her. LOL.No kidding! It was beneficial, though. I’d been missing her after breaking up and this really solidified that I should absolutely stay away. My friends and I have been laughing about this over drinks. | /r/MGTOW | 17/10/20 11:45 PM
Woke up to this after sharing a piece of music that made me think of her. LOL.Anything and everything, apparently. | /r/MGTOW | 17/10/20 11:32 PM
50/50 should be the norm!I grew up in Illinois. From age 4 (after my parents’ divorce), I saw my father 1 PM-5 PM (4 hours on Sundays) every other weekend or 5 PM-5PM (24 hours on Saturdays/Sundays). Oh, also one whole week during the summer when we went on road trips around the country. I didn’t realize until adulthood just how little time I had with my dad and how it negatively affected my upbringing. It took me even longer to realize how toxic my mother and older sister were and how they negatively affected me in so … | /r/MensRights | 12/07/20 07:06 PM
