If you have a hard time coming up with topics in the moment. Maybe its a good idea to prepare strokes of paper with things you like to talk about or have talked about with previous dates. You put them in your pocket and take one out at a time. Bonus points if you make a lot and put them in for a date in the "far" future so it feels like a new topic for yourself too and have no chance to prepare your logical answer

It mainly comes down to you expectations. Do you enjoy just sitting and having a drink? by all means do that. Is it because you watched a youtube video about someone saying it was a great way to meet a love interest? Then you probably wont be really enjoying it. Because you keep your focus on escalation with someone rather than it being relaxation.

I honestly have no idea really.. If these were straight people only you could assume that.. but since there are kind off a lot of actual gay people who also thought thought that. doesnt have to be true, we can have our group of friends come together. have a great day evening like we often used to have when we were younger. They say we should do this more often when leaving. When a few of us arrange the dates 3/4 girls often say they are preoccupied everyday for the next 5 weeks or some bs excuses no dating aspect here Its just a tick a lot of people have, just like asking how you are without wanting a real answer

You are thinking of this the wrong way. Fitting into a scene doenst exclude you from standing out. Your just more aproachable when you are part of the group it is you being the same as others on basic levels you can stand out by having more to your personality beyond that first common scene layer

Sure yeah, respecting the girl and asking permission are things you have to do ofcourse But thats about bigger things, such as asking to hold hands or trying to go in for a kiss. Sitting next to her isnt one of those. since you have to sit down anyway It is a dumb and basic thing to read i know, but the respect and confidence camps intertwine where you shouldnt do too much of either. i dont really have list with the big and small things sitting somewhere is def a small one tho unless its on top …

yeah.. I know.. So I agreed to come, the only thing now is: im kinda afraid that I will be boring or awkward in her group of friends. I dont really know what im supposed to do, I have never been invited like that. Should I bring something? What things should I definitely not do?
