I never suggested that I don't care whether I have my shit together. I figured out why this confuses us so much. Start drinking immediately. One day I was feeling very self-conscious because I had a tiny canker sore on the side of my mouth. I didn't want to speak face-to-face with anyone, let alone girls. Then my buddies invited me to the bars. I had a few generous swigs of vodka to pre-game the bars.
