I’ll let you have a flick through their profile. They have an opinion on the roles of men and women, the reality doesn’t match their expectations and they have become bitter. We’re on a sub relating to men, mens rights, health, mental health, overall masculinity. It’s not a far stretch that I might comment upon someone’s sense of masculinity in such a context.

Yeah I’ve long since accepted that. Like I say, only professional intervention is going to make a marked difference but having these discussions openly, hearing each other out and raising awareness is something I think we should all be doing for each other. Absolutely agree with you about the kindness. Getting angry at someone because of the way they think often just makes them double down! I will not however put up with any nonsense, I believe you can be firm without being cruel. I’ve spoken to a few men like this and heard their stories of being treated poorly, as I’ve also spoken to women with the exact same incel ideology just with the genders flipped. There’s unfortunately, I seem to have discovered today, a lot of crossover in men focussed subs between blokes genuinely looking to make the world a better place and the small minority that is full of rage due to their lot in the world. Ironically I think the latter couldn’t be any less masculine with their ideals. What’s manly about hating everything? That’s easy and a cop out.
