The terrifying thing about this is the little details about child size dolls and "Frigid Farrah" a personality programme that simulates a woman rejecting sexual advances... 🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮

I dont think so. It'll either be empathy for the human stand in - showing once again how women are encouraged to be empathetic and this leads to more compassion. Or fear that when you provide men with a "woman" they can do what they want to, they choose violence.

I'd never worked out why the term "females" bothered me so much. It's this...

The first few moments where Grace is running through her "identities" for want of a better word and it's all labels men have given her.

"I always do what she asks" Yes. Nothing gets me off more than having to repeat what I like to an inattentive sexual partner. Ooh baby.

I wasn't harassed much as a teen, but certainly when I got to university. I don't remember the specifics but there was something on the news about harassment in bars and my Dad asked if it had ever happened to me. I said it had and he shook his head saying he used to see it all the time when he was younger so started telling his friends to leave people alone and got into a few fights when he intervened. He said he thought men would have gotten better in 40 years.

Funny how "discharge" has such negative connotations when it's as healthy and normal as ejaculate. Gonna start calling semen "penile discharge" just to see what happens 🤷‍♀️

It's based on "Harris's List of Covent Garden Ladies". A man writing about what prostitutes operate in the area and their 'virtues'. Also warning men off women who have "the pox". If you like the show, you should read/listen to Hailie Rubenhold's book about the list and three key figures from the Covent Garden scene at the time. Also by Hailie Rubenhold, "The Five" which aims to give a name and a voice to the women Jack the Ripper killed rather than hearing the same old story of male violence.

I do think the last one is a good vetting strategy. You should have a social circle that doesn't include your boyfriend. Maintaining those independent friendships is crucial.

As someone pointed out above, men get coddled as children. They're tantrums get soothed and they dont have to start worrying about the world until they're easily in their teen years. Girls are increasingly being forced to grow up early. From 4 year olds with eating disorders, to 14 year olds with horrific injuries from trying to copy porn. We learn that "if he hurts you it means he likes you" and then the same people who taught us that then get appalled that we would stay in an abusive relations…

You need to know your own body. You know if you're aroused enough to want sex and you know when a guy is wasting your time. Lube shouldn't be facilitating bad sex you know your body isnt ready for. Maintain those boundaries and if a guy isn't getting you ready then leave.

The audacity to think they could say horrible stuff to you then apologise like that's some kind of magical cure all. No way. You were able to say those things, so clearly you feel that way about me so we're done.

If this question is too personal then please say, but can't your children know what he did? Even if not now because they're too young and should be allowed their Dad to be their Dad, when they get old enough to understand won't they want to know why you divorced?

Lots of car maintenance is actually pretty easy. I've always asked my Dad to change headlight bulbs, fix a flat etc. Until I couldn't be bothered to wait for him to get home and like you, watched a YouTube video and did it myself. Took about 10 mins and with half the spitting and swearing as my smaller hands fit in the spaces better.

Women in their 40s-50s don't date these men because they know their value. That's why these old men fish for 20yos

If you're not happy then yes you should end it. Breakups don't have to be initiated by cheating, or any negative action. They can be as a result of people growing apart over time.

Interestingly, theres a movement in the UK to remove the 'rough sex' defence arguing that you can consent to lots of things, but not to be killed. I confess I've not read much around it, so I don't know how far it's got... hopefully people are still pushing.

How a man travels is a really useful vetting tool further into a relationship. Do they keep their cool when in a different country and something goes wrong? Do they work with you to sort out a plan or do they immediately appoint blame or throw a tantrum?

They definitely don't. Plus the photos posted are usually snapped while he's out walking and aren't exactly flattering. When he's been forced to make an effort (at an award ceremony or something) he doesn't look as bad.

I dont see the point in seeking out a man. Either on OLD, matchmaking services, etc. Focus on yourself. You dont need a man.

Don't join a club specifically to look for a man. Develop a skill, a hobby, learn or practise a sport and if a HVM appears, then he does. If not, you have an extra string to your bow of a happy, fulfilled single life.

I see your point. It's often clear a woman has to be at least twice as a successful for the same recognition as men. However, I read this differently. I read this as "you don't have to be the unpleasant, lonely, shrewish woman that many films will tell you a female CEO has to be. You can be very successful and be in your comfortable clothes, with a family, if that's what you want."
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy21/03/21 10:02 AM

Even if your friends ask for your opinion, ask them how they feel in that clothing. If they don't feel comfortable/sexy/confident tell them to scrap it and find something they do feel comfortable/etc in. If they feel great in it, tell them they should wear the fuck out of it and who cares what anyone else thinks. 😊😊😊

When one man (and several ignored and overlooked women) invent something...
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy17/03/21 05:35 AM

No, women learning their bodies and learning how to satisfy themselves is great. It flies directly in the face of women only existing as sexual beings for men, rather than beings in their own right. Also, knowing what you like and don't like, and binning off any sexual partners that ignore that info is very important to a person's wellbeing.

I'm always surprised by how many people find it shocking my Dad raised me and my brother for 3 years while my Mum took advantage of a career opportunity in another part of the country, yet don't bat an eyelid that we were left with her when he was in the Navy. It's the 21st fucking century.

I tend to use "partner" when I speak to men. When I have used "boyfriend" in the past they see it as a challenge. 🙄

Walking away, or blocking and deleting a man you no longer want any connection with is totally valid. Yes it's fun to see the "clapbacks" but honestly? Thinking of witty comments and continuing to talk to these losers is wasting your time and energy and only feeding their ego because you are still engaging with them.

Because if a man wants to tell you you're not good enough for him, he will find it. This is why it's so important to choose the life you want.

Indian pale ale. Nothing wrong with that being your drink of choice, but men putting it in their OLD profiles definitely suggests "date" at a bar so he can show off how much he knows about IPAs to feel superior and probably drinks too much.

Because the message is so deeply ingrained through our socialisation that "boys will be boys" and they will only change for a "good" woman. Its bull shit that is in pretty much every single piece of media aimed at women. If men are raised low value, they stay low value unless they do a tonne of self reflection and emotional labour - which as we know, lvm do not do. Focus on you. You are the protagonist in your story, dont act like a side character in someone else's.

It's hard, but you've gotta go NC on them. Delete them off all social media and focus that energy on building yourself up. This pandemic sucks, but you have interests, and soon you will be allowed to go out and meet other people with those interest and have a better chance of building better friendships. Dont fall for that sunk cost fallacy, you're worth so much more than that.

Nothing wrong with entertaining the people you invite round and who you want to host. Any man worth living with will discuss who is going to come into your home and be an equal host rather than expect you to do everything.

I disagree. A guy could have any sized dick and if he's pornsick and jackhammering then it's not going to feel good and putting emphasis on dick size (in my opinion) gives LVM an excuse. "It's not my fault I'm bad at sex, my dick is the wrong size! (Crocodile tears)" You can take dick out of the equation and any man who cares about you and your sexual pleasure will still make you feel good.

I've never been one for Valentine's Day. Not because I want to be a 'cool girl' but because I had been given enough tacky cards and cheap, petrol station forecourt flowers for a lifetime. My instruction is put the effort in, or dont waste my time. Cue my current partner - last year I was working on Valentine's Day, and he knows that after a long day I don't want to get dressed up and go out so he brought round ingredients for lasagne (which he'd had to look up as I'm vegetarian and use a differe…
